Stayed there because the price was okay. Really a bear to get to the rooms from the covered parking lot. These are converted apartments not actual hotel rooms. Assess is a little difficult. Had to duck under rails and up a little gravel embankment in order not to have to walk fifteen minutes to get the room (north side). Decided to do this instead of the walk to avoid the several homeless people milling around the outside. Once to the steps to the second floor, it was littered with Band-Aids that were weathered (could tell that they were there a long time) with the steps not being cleaned. The room had huge (4) stains on the carpet. Do not know what they were, blood, oil or whatever. Did go to the front desk and told them that they should not rent the room with the condition of the carpet. They did offer to move us, but I said why not clean the freakin carpet. It was cleaned and we stayed the second day of our reservation. Just a basic room with what looked like a new tv and maybe a bed. Have stayed in worse, but will not go back.

I have stayed here at this hotel five or six times, I stay here because I earn free nights through their multi-casino loyalty program. The hotel is a converted apartment complex divided up into five or six buildings. The closest rooms are about a five minute walk to the casino and the furthest about an 8 minute walk. These times only really matter in the heat of the summer as the walk is outside and in the sun. Also late at night as many homeless people walk through the property.
Boulder Highway is famous for its many prostitutes that walk the sidewalks in front of the casino/hotel.
Rooms are small and smell of either stinky must or spray deodorizer. Some rooms have flat screen TVs and new beds. Bathroom is small and cramped.
The parking lot and outside hotel grounds are almost always dirty and littered with trash.
Service at this hotel is terrible and you will usually find yourself waiting either in line or for SLOW employees.
The Buffet is below average but the Cafe is OK with goog food specials.

Room Tip: Choose a room close to the casino. Also check the air conditioning/heater in you room befofe it get...

I stayed here on a weekday and the price and value can't be beat. $33 a night for a two room two bed suite. Quality is equivalent to a Super 8 hotel. The only complaint is the $12 a night internet fee. A little steep. But on the other hand, the other hotels that include internet access have resort fees of $15 a night. So I head down the block to the 24hr McDonalds that has free internet access. Also about 1 mile away is the Clark County library. Just bring a USB drive and they can print off any files you want for 10 cents a page, like boarding passes, etc. They also have free computer access if you didn't bring your computer.

This Review is for the casino only. My wife and I visited in May of 2013 and enjoyed playing and eating there. The machines did let us play awhile and the food was really pretty good. It's an older casino, well-worn and smokey, but lots of character. Also, not the best area of Vegas, but no reason to go walking around the area away from the casino.Use valet parking (it's free, but good tip is about $5 )

They want 10.95 per day for Internet access. Not business friendly. Fairly dirty. Will Never stay again. Eastside Cannery is a much better choice. The buffet is very good and the restaurant has good value, and the service has improved since the last time, when my friends and I walked out because of slow service.

Room Tip: Comfortable beds, good food, no Internet.

I have stayed at this hotel for the second time. I didn`t hesitate to choose it again. The hotel is wonderful, the rooms are large and clean, the bed is comfortable. There are many channels on a TV. The hotel is 20 minutes away from the Las Vegas strip and away from the noise.
The prices are reasonable during the weekend compare with the prices of the big hotels in the center. If you like gambling the casino is next to the buildings with rooms. I dеfinitely recommend this hotel.

Rooms were in major need of work. They don't even give you light bulbs for the side lamps. The room didn't have enough towels and they really arnt that clean. Casino really sucked as well as the coffee shop(poor service). I will never stay again.
