“An amazing hotel at the heart of Las Vegas!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 October 2009

We stayed in Caesar's Palace for two nights of our seven night trip and it was probably our favourite hotel. It is just as you imagine - great service in a very grand environment. The staff were all very friendly and helpful; the bathrooms were enormous with huge baths and seperate showers; the casino is massive and there are many events to see (we recommend Cher even as non fans she was amazing!).
The Forum shops are part of the hotel and there are loads to choose from.
There is loads to do at night including the shows, clubs, bars and the casinos.
We highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed 3 nights for a family wedding and being late June it was very hot outside but nice and cool in the hotel.

Have nothing but praise for our room in the Palace Tower but housekeeping were very slow in cleaning room service food trays and glasses from the corridor floors.

The hotel is enormous and it takes an age to walk from reception to the Palace Tower.
Both checking in and out were relatively quick operations. Had the breakfast buffet which is not cheap but good but did not eat in any of the other restaurants as we were too busy sightseeing outside of the hotel.

The shopping mall was very big but quite expensive, really interesting decor on the ceiling/roof with some interesting moving statue shows. Ample free car paking in the hotel. Not impressed by the swimming pools - they are over detailed and intricate and the sun beds are jammed tight together, we prefer more natural free form swimming pools.

Overall a good place although if we go again would like to try the Bellagio.

I have just returned from a long weekend in Vegas with my husband and friends. It was a fantastic trip and could be rated as one of my best holidays! We stayed in Caesars Palace and after reading the reviews on here I was very worried as to what to expect. There were several reviews saying how grubby and run down it was????
Not our experience - on arrival I asked for a complimentary upgrade and they said one had already been applied. The room was lovely, clean, modern and although our view was of the back of the hotel, it was still a view. We stayed in the palace tower and paid about £350 for 3 nights through a travel agents. The hotel has a really nice vibe, people are very friendly and it went on for miles! Being a bit of a self proclaimed snob, I found that being one of the pricier hotels attracted better clientel. After looking round the other hotels, I would suggest Caesars, The Venetian and The Bellagio.

Drinks are really expensive at about $9 each, so make sure you make the best of free drinks when gambling.

Places to visit -
Caesars Palace - The cheesecake factory. Either eat a main or dessert, nnot sure you will manage both!
The Venetian - The Gondola rides. Very expensive and short but worth a look at the indoor canals, beautiful!
The Mirage - All you can eat champagne breakfast. Not posh but fab food and we didn't need to eat until 11pm that night! The exploding volcano, outside and explodes every hour from 8-12.
The Parisian - Mon Ami Gabi. The best breakfast I have ever had, great service and bottomless drinks. I had the chocolate and bacon waffle which stunned me into silence, a real must-try.
The MGM - Free lion attraction, great for kids and big kids alike. KA the show, pretty expensive but mind blowing and had us gasping for breath at the stunts.
The Stratasphere - The rides at the top are great, do them in the dark for best effect. We also had dinner at the 'Top of the World ' restaurant. Great views, good service but really pricey. $300 for 4 of us for just mains and a bottle of wine. Try it as a treat if you dont go on a helicopter.
The Bellagio - The fountain goes off through the day, but come alive at night! They go off every 15 mins and are fabulous, another freebie! The dress code in here was a bit more upmarket and most girls were in dresses.

One last top tip - the taxi from the airport to caesars cost us $30 on the way to the hotel and $11 on our trip back.... done over as usual for being a tourist. Ask for the direct route and say that you have been before so they dont con you.

p.s. everyone wants a tip and some will ask you for one. Dont be a woss and pay a taxi driver if he doesnt do a good job, we had one who wouldn't accept our payment until we added a tip - tell them where to go, you wont see them again!

All in all, we would go back tomorrow. Fantastic!!!

The reception process was a brutal and bruising experience. We were not given the room that had been reserved on our behalf by our UK tour operator. The room that we were given was 633 in the Palace Tower, not the expected room in the Forum Tower. The furniture in 633 wasbattered and bruised, the paintwork was covered in a thick layer of dust. One of the wardrobe doors was hanging off. The coridor immediately outside our room was variously strewn with dirty plates empty beer bottles, and for a long time there was a "Commode" was left in the corridor. To get to the Palace Tower elevators outside the Palace Pool area, we constantly had to fight our through large groups of drunken men, intimidating guests going for the elevators. The House standards were disgraceful. This Hotel is so grossly overpriced for the service for the level of service displayed it is insulting to any visiting tourist.
NEVER AGAIN

Booked for 7 nights the room we booked was totaly unexceptable, shower blocked then all this black junck coming up through the drains! no backs on the the draws so clothes just fell through to the next draw, the entrance door was not fitted well with a 2 inch gap at one end.We were then upgraded to a great room with extra cost incured by US.Upgrade was great untill we tried to sleep. The suite next door was party central for a least 4 of the 7 night stay with the music not loud but blaring. After the last complaint to reception the extra cost for the upgrade was wavered. At no time were we contacted by any staff member in any position to see if the situation could be resolved (The duty manger was even invited up to our room by us to wittnes the party going on next door, that was a no show.) At last checking out, the receptionist was not aware of the room waver and put it on our account after she was informed by me of the waver, she then had to contact whoever to sort this problem out WHAT A MESS. At no time were we asked by any staff member at Ceasers about our VERY VERY unsatifactory stay, o'h i lie a female valet attendant did ask us about our stay when she retrived our car. This was our third visit to vegas, and we did splash out to stay at Ceasers. "NOT HAPPY JAN"

This hotel has everything you could possibly ask for. It's an amazing place and won't let you down. No pictures, movies or internet sites will do this hotel justice. Seeing is believing and it is a must for everyone. The location is perfect, the staff are brilliant, the casino is exceptional and the clubs are fantastic. I was blown over and still reeling now I'm home. If I'm lucky enough to get back to Vegas I will stay here.
