We stayed in the skyrise tower and the rooms were very good. The only complaint I had was that we checked in around 10 pm, and at 11 pm with kids in bed the cleaning staff was vacuuming the room next door to clean it up (as well as other ones on the floor).

I had no complaints about the rest of the hotel. The amusement park had many attractions that the kids enjoyed, and the restaurants were adequate. The buffet was a bit pricey and the food was average - but had a large selection.

Going through a time share pitch for 2 hrs will get you free vouchers for the buffet, amusement park, or other credits.

Room Tip: Skyrise towers seemed good. Did not smell like smoke, and were quite.

This place is in need of a really big update. The rooms smell of smoke and has a very dingy look. Good for groups who need somewhere to change and go. Far down the strip so you will have to catch a cab or walk in the heat to the "hot" spots. Someone used the bathroom (#2) in the elevator which by the way are very slow. It took maintenance forever to come and clean it out. Buffet was horrible, I became sick. Rockin Ritas was also disgusting. Drinks were watered down. I would stay here again but the chances are slim. I would say that customer service was good upon check in and when I needed help with directions. Staff did go out of their way. Housekeeping did clean but since hotel is old it did not show as much. This would be the primary reason for my return if I weren't turned off by the hotel conditions.

Room was excellent value for the price - we stayed in the casino tower. I was really surprised at how the air conditioner was able to keep the room cold despite the outside temperature of 115! Location was a bit out of the way if trying to get to the rest of the strip by foot but we were able to take the bus up and down the strip when needed (I think it was something like $8 for an unlimited all-day bus ticket). We especially selected Circus Circus because of the entertainment for our two boys (11 and 16). They loved being able to go to the Adventure Dome and the huge Midway arcade while us adults spent some time at the blackjack tables and slot machines. We were enjoying our stay so much that we requested an extra night at the hotel - Circus Circus was able to accommodate us staying an extra night.

Our room was extremely nice and clean. The hotel was nice and cool even though it was 111 outside. The hotel was huge. There was plenty to do. Stay in the West Tower, it is newly renovated. This was our first time in Vegas so we didn't realize how far it was from the rest of the strip. Don't walk to the rest of the strip unless you like walking miles and want a good workout. There is a monorail that is a few blocks away, catch it at LVH. We took it back to the hotel and the map said the best stop is Sahara but you can't get across to the Las Vegas street.
Overall you couldn't beat the price. Also once we found the monorail it was easy to get to the rest of the strip. You have to pay but worth it. We would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Select a room in the West Tower, it is newly renovated. Don't check in around 3;30 , most of the hotels have long lines at this time

Let's see, I haven't read the reviews, but can imagine a wide spectrum of comments. We selected Circus Circus because we were traveling with family members of all ages and we know that Vegas is not "kid friendly", but Circus Circus is just that...kid and family friendly. Is the food expensive...YES...as is all of Vegas, prices were comparable with other hotels on the strip. Location is great for families, not great if you planned on spending lots of time on the strip...its a bit of a lengthy walk (45 mins) in very warm weather. There is a high end mall nearby and discount shopping a few blocks away at Ross Dress for Less. There's another casino across the street - the Rivera. There is a McDonald's next door and strip clubs galore within walking distance, shooting range across the street and last but not least, free parking! The rooms in the West Tower were nice, recently updated. The downside is the bedspreads on both beds were noticably soiled. I asked to have them changed or removed, but they remained in place for the entire 3 night stay - hence the 3 not 4 rating. If you are traveling with family and want to be near the strip but not on it and have options for good family fun, this is the place for you. If you are looking to party at the clubs and casino hop on the strip, you may want to consider an option closer to the main attractions, you will need a car or have to take the bus or taxis to the main part of the strip.

Room Tip: West Tower rooms were nice, updated
