Hi, I stayed here at the Flamingo with a friend, for 4 days. We wanted something near the middle of the strip that was reasonably priced. We also wanted to get one of the older hotels, just for a bit of history. Our choice was perfect for location. The hotel staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel has a great pool, and was very popular. Good restaurants and of course plenty of gambling. Our room was neat and clean, though the hallway leading to it was in need of refurbishment. But all in all a good place to stay, as we spent most of our time out and enjoying Vegas. So, value for money it was a fantastic stay, though don't expect all the lavishness of a new hotel. Cheers.

We stayed here for one night and that was more than enough.
We knew that they were renovating and we liked the look of the hotel as we walked in with the marble flooring in the lobby, but it was downhill from there... When we arrived at about 9:30 pm, we had to join a very long queue of people waiting to check in. There were two people behind the reception desk and one of them quickly disappeared, leaving just ONE person to deal with everybody. There was a manager of some sort, gazing at his computer screen and strutting up and down looking important, but he apparently didn't seem to consider it necessary to do something about the queue...
Having waited the best part of an hour, we got our keys and made our way to our room. Everything looked very run down, in the lift and in the hallways with the worn-out, rucked up carpeting. We reached our room, only to find that one of the two keys didn't work. The other one did, after a few tries. We were in a supposedly renovated room but it was horrible. The pink "furry" coverlet looked like something you wouldn't want to touch. The flooring was damaged. Looked as if somebody had carved it up, in places. There were disgusting yellow stains on the toilet seat and the panel above the bath was starting to sag.
The bed was OK but the room was noisy.
We certainly wouldn't stay here again.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Flamingo 7/20/14 to 7/24/14. We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds and a view of the strip. Because he was a total rewards member, we only paid $150 total for all 4 nights! The room was clean, spacious, and had a floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the strip. It was gorgeous! The staff was all very friendly. The maids came in and changed out our towels and added more shampoo and soap, etc. without disturbing any of our belongings. There was a safe in the closet that was very easy to use, so we were able to store our valuables in there. Our room was surprisingly quiet every day and night. We even had a room that adjoined another, and never heard a peep through the door. The most important thing about staying at the Flamingo is the location. It is right in the center of the strip, which is ideal for easy access to any part of the strip. We walked around to all the different hotels/casinos. When we wanted to go farther away from the hotel, such as going to Stratosphere or to Fremont St, we bought cheap tickets for the Deuce transit bus which conveniently stops all over the strip. The only complaints we had about the Flamingo is that our room smelled like smoke (however, we didn't complain about it to the staff. If we did, I'm sure they would've given us another room. It didn't bother us enough to change rooms). Also, you don't have much control over the temperature. We set our thermostat on 65 because we thought the room felt warm. It never got below 75. If you're one of those people who sets your AC to 70, you would've been hot. Other than that, no complaints!

Great location, nice hotel with everything you need. Lots of trees by the pools so you can get some shade if needed. Not enough pool waitresses. They don't come by very often. Very pleased with the hotel.

Room Tip: Your best room are the Go rooms.

We were here many many years ago as a couple when this was the Flamingo Hilton and it's changed a lot since then. Firstly although it's still about gambling there's a great deal more here than just gambling - the shows, the restaurants, the tourist attractions as a whole. I'd venture to guess however that much of the decor in the hotel has perhaps not changed since then, certainly not in the hotel public places such as the corridor carpets! The room was unexceptional but it was clean and the beds very comfy. Pool was great and the pizzas from the pizza place enormous & fantastic! A good start to the holiday!

Room Tip: We had a double queen, with ensuite bath, which was fine. There's no coffee making facilities in...

This review is long over due. I stayed at the Flamingo with my husband and family for our wedding in October. We had a party of 40 , and the staff at the Chapel ensured every detail was met. The time allowed at the Gazebo Chapel (60 mins) exceeds what most of the strip hotels will offer. We stayed in a "Go mini suite" and the room was perfect size, and nice to have extra space for visitors. Our guests were sending gifts to the room and the staff ensured we got each one, delivered while we were in the suite. We will be back on our first anniversary. I recommend joining the total rewards program as it provides extra discounts, which was appreciated since we were paying for a large event.
