The Flamingo is certainly a budget hotel and if you look into the history it is one of the oldest hotels on the strip and it shows it. Our room was filthy with what appeared to be dried vomit on the bed valance or some other bodily fluid. We had to ring front desk service area to get a number of things fixed which were obviously not checked when the last guest checked out.
People in the hotel smoke everywhere and drunken people stagger around the place. This is not a family hotel. If your young on a budget and want somewhere to through your cases whilst you gamble and drink your time away then it will probably suit you.
The Pool only suited those over 21 and it was not a quite and relaxing pool. If you like a DJ and want to smash drinks down then the pool would be a great place.

The center strip location of the Flamingo keeps us coming back. Our go-room on the 20th floor was well maintained & cleaned. Towels were plentiful & the bed was very comfortable. Carpeting in the hallway had been replaced since our last visit 9/13. Elevator service was sporadic, even a bit scary at times. We had a problem with our room key not working when we checked in. After a security guard & an engineer were not able to help us we stood in the "key & mail" line for 45 minutes for a new key which worked for the rest of our stay. We found each employee we encountered very friendly, especially in the sports book & casino.

Room Tip: Go Rooms have a fridge & coffee maker. Avoid rooms on the Flamingo Road side due to noise from...

great location and great deal if you don't want to get cabs or drive to other areas of the strip. Overall is a fun casino and the Go rooms are nice. The bathrooms are big and beds are comfortable. The casino floor bathroom at times is not the cleanest.

This was our second visit to the Flamingo. We stayed Wednesday through Sunday. Our room was in the corner on the 22nd floor, 22062. Upgraded GO room. The view is the south side of the strip, facing the Bellagio fountains and Paris. Sounds great, right? It was ok Wednesday and Thursday night. The new rooftop beach club/nightclub atop the Cromwell left us sleepless until 3am Friday night and the party must start again during the day since a nap at 2:30pm was not happening due to the daytime beach/pool club music. Saturday night the same. If you aren't getting back to sleep until after 3am and don't want to nap during the day on this weekend then you will be fine. The management didn't care at all. Their response? "This is Vegas. What do you expect?" They said the new club just opened 2 months ago. The music was so loud in the room it was thumping in the bathroom with the door shut.

Just attended a three day conference here and was sadly disappointed once again. I was told the hotel was renovated from the last time I was there. I would like to know what was redone. Check in was like a line at Disney World and took over an hour. It was either hot or freezing depending on where you were. Escalators were broken. The buffet was mediocre at best except the desserts. The first night the noise level was so bad, I got no sleep. The steakhouse was excellent as was our waiter. I will not stay here again.

Room Tip: Top floor facing the new Ferris wheel.

Arrived at the Flamingo to wait in the real long check-in line, just to get hit with an unexpected "incidental" fee on a Total Rewards comp. Was told the fee would be refunded during check out that could take up to a month. Threatened to leave the property and go somewhere else so the manager decided to waive the fee. Upon arriving at the room, it was dirty. Foot print on couch, stains on bed and smoke filled hallways (even on non smoking floor) We returned to the desk and stood in the complaints line, and were moved to another room and given a food credit. It seems the hotel is used to the issues, because we were one of several people with issues. The elevator is ridiculous. Half the time the floor numbers displayed are incorrect, and sometimes it doesn't register the floor you stopped on at all. Several of the buttons on the inside are missing, such as the 11 floor, so when we got on to go down to visit a friend, we couldn't stop on the floor because the button was gone. Out of all the hotels on and around the strip, even for a free room, I'd forget that and stay at a nicer place. Caesars Entertainment should be embarrassed about the condition of the Flamingo.

Stayed at the Flamingo between 21-28 of July in a Go Deluxe Room with Highroller/Pool view.

This hotel has a perfect location on the strip. Across the Bellagio and Ceasars Palace. Close to Miracle Mile shopping. Loads of restaurangs, bars and stores next to the hotel or withing a short walk.

The room was clean, really nice beds, big tv, loads of drawers to put your clothes in, coffemaker, mini-fridge and a great sound system. The bathroom was large and clean with a see through shower and a tv in the bathroom mirror. The only not so good part about the bathroom was the shaded sliding door that you couldnt lock properly.

Nice white and pink colors in the room made it really fancy.

The best part of the hotel was the Go Pool, 21+, great atmosphere all day long. DJ playing. Not to expensive in the bar with some decent happy hour prices. You need to be down at the pool when it openes to get the best spots but there are still loads of chairs if you arrive abit later.

Loads of Cabanas and daybeds for rent aswell. Didnt bother since we stayed in the water most of the time anyway.

Loads of restaurangs at the hotel, pizza, foodcourt with different choices, some steakhouse, Margaritaville, Carlos and Charlies (mexican food) had 20$ all you can drink from 10pm-03am on the Saturday we where there.

We didnt have any issues checking in when we arrived at 11-12pm and it went kinda smooth even if the line was long. Was even longer at other times midday.

Drinkservice was kinda bad at slots but it was really good at tables.

For the price, location, pool area and the nice rooms i would probably stay here again.

Room Tip: Go Deluxe Room
