My husband and i stayed here for nine nights in a grand tower spa suite. The room was amazing, it was huge and very clean. Housekeeping did an excellent job everyday and were always very friendly and polite. We had a great view facing new york new york. As others have said a lot of walking just to get out of hotel, but not to much of a problem. The pool area was just amazing and we never had any problem at all getting a sun lounger at any time of day. Plenty of restaurants and bars although some a little pricey. All in all we had a wonderful stay and would definately stay here again. And just to mention we didnt have any problems checking in or out .

We were visiting this hotel to celebrate by partners 50th birthday. We were arriving in the morning having visited New York first. I contacted the hotel prior to our trip to find out if we could have an early check in room and were advised that we could subject to availability. Upon arrival we were told that the room was not ready (fair enough!). We were told to put our luggage in storage and come back in an hour - the man indicated for us to go straight back to his desk. We went back in a hour, he said the room was ready so my partner went to get the luggage whilst I checked in. Then the receptionist man decided the room was'nt ready afterall, so then back went the luggage into storage! I would rather have been told the rooms not ready come back at 3pm. To be honest I think it was the particular member of staff that served us that was rubbish!
The room which we booked was a Tower Spa Suite and this was Fab. Loads of space, massive bathroom, Jacuzzi - millions of towels. Could have possibly done with a new carpet! I read on the website before we went that a lot of the pools close down in November, but these actually closed down after our first day (27th Oct) leaving only one pool open. All that said I love the MGM and Vegas as a whole.
One final gripe, don't do the drop key check out if you ever want to see a bill. This should be emailed to you - but we never received it despite the money being taken from my credit card.

Loved this hotel! It is probably the biggest hotel we've ever stayed in and we did get lost a few times however there was always a friendly member of staff on hand to help us out! We dined in a few of the restaurants and the meals were outstanding especially in the fiamma Italian restaurant. First class! We were on honeymoon and they upgraded our room without requesting and also gave us a $150 credit for food/drink which was greatly appreciated! The casino is huge and the waitresses are lovely and on hand to serve drinks at every turn. There is a monorail which runs every 6 minutes which will take you to the main strip in minutes, Vegas itself is HUGE and quite confusing at times however we had a fabulous time overall and it was definitely the best way to end our honeymoon!

Great hotel. Many food options on site. A little crowded but, after all, it's Vegas. The pool parties are very good.
The residing lions are worth the stay. Free wi-fi.
There is a huge space where they host most of the fights and concerts.

Poor customer service. we were meeting other people there and since we were the first to arrive they asked to be connected to our room when they got there. They were told three times by three different people that we weren't registered there. It took 24 hours before we actually connected so wasted a full day of our vacation. It is a huge beautiful hotel with lots of restaurants and things to see and do and very conveniently located. We were able to walk to most places on the strip. the pool area is very nice but they only had one pool open even though it was very nice and lots of people were unable to find chairs by the pool. Had lots of fun in spite of the weird room and difficulty meeting up with other people.

Room Tip: If you can get an upgraded room. We chose not to thinking we wouldn't be in the room that much anyway. BIG MISTAKE. We didn't have a bathroom we had a locker room. Shower stall. toilet stall and sink as soon as you walked in the room. If you were getting in the shower and someone came in the door anyone walking by in the hallway would have an unobstructed view. For an extra $20.00 a night you can have a real bathroom or even a suite!
