“Enjoyable Stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 July 2014

Great experience, love to stay at this place. The Rooms are excellent & give no cause for complaint. Location wise it is quite close to airport and is ideal for a walk on to the strip and other casinos.

Food is excellent - although would prefer more veggie options or east Indian/thai/asian food

Room Tip: Awesome Spa suite, would be better if the suite had privacy for the bedroom - the bedroom was open w...

I was in Vegas for trading show. Mgm is big hotel, lot machines, lot restaurants.

Room was OK quit (west wing, 7 floor ) excellent Wi-Fi everywhere. But for business it's not a good place.

Check in very long because lot of clients. Any quiet lounge, very noisy. Aria , Mandalay Bay, is better place, or Tropicana.

Check in line was very long!! Lobby was full of less than half dressed young girls, that I swear forgot to put their pants on. Room was very nice, no complaints about the room but the lobby and casino need to be kept up more. As we step off the elevator on our floor the first thing I saw was an empty glass on the floor it remained there for the next day and a half as we passed it going to and from our room. On the second day after being out and about we returned to our room and upon entering there was a very strong odor of smoke, weed and loud noise of a party going on. We were in an adjoining room and on a non smoking floor, idiots should have at least asked for a smoking floor. After changing to go out to dinner and a show we went down to complain about the smell, security told us it wasn't their problem that we should complain to the check in desk. After telling us they were sorry and giving us another room on another floor we missed dinner but thankfully not our show. It would have been nice if they would have given us a upgrade or even a strip view for the inconvenience. Non the less I really don't think I will be staying here again anytime soon.

We have stayed in various places, but the MGM Grand is the best. The service is great, the variety and quality of dining experiences are superior, every single staff member is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are stylish and comfortable. We loved it! And, for a special dining experience, try Wolfgang Puck's restaurant. We ate there twice; the foods and drinks were outstanding - a little pricey, but not for a special treat.

If you are going to Vegas this is where you want to be. We were in the West Wing, miles away from everything in the Hotel but one minute away from Las Vegas Blvd. If you require lost of room the West Wing is not for you. If you want Funky this is the place to be. Great value for a place to lay your head. I rank rooms by shower and pillow and this room was a definite ten. The MGM was the hub of excitement. A very lively hotel. My choice of a repeat and I have stayed at all of the top Hotels but this would be top on my list.

Room Tip: Get as high as you can and on the airport side. Fun to sit back and relax while watching the airport...

Green Features: Missed that. No signs of saving the environment but all of the hotels work towards it

I enjoy the MGM Grand! It's usually the first stop on the shuttles from the airport. The lobby is huge, and sometimes it's still a little crowded - guess lots of people like this hotel too. The MGM Grand is nice hote/casino. You can feel comfortable there - it doesn't feel too ritzy, but you definitely feel like you can be pampered on a whim. I'll be back!

Check-in time is 3PM but you may want to spend some time doing other things and not try to check in at 3PM with thousands of others. Drop yur bags with the bag folks and wander around to get the lay of the land so to speak. Then after you have found your way around and used up some time go back and check in. Great place to stay. You will enjoy the lazy river especially if you have children with you.
