I love staying here. It's kid friendly, movies, bowling, Baskin Robins, Sbarros, Fudruckers, even has Mocha Java ( Starbucks). Rooms are really spacious, even the bathrooms. I feel very safe in the hotel, one morning I left the room at 3:00am and seen security making their rounds on my floor

The Orleans is our favorite place to stay when visiting Vegas. It's always a pleasure to stay at our home away from home. We're always pleased with The Orleans and they always provide great service and the rooms are always immaculate. Nothing but great reviews for this hotel.

I loved staying and playing at the Orleans. It has easy access to the city of Las Vegas without having to wait in long traffic lines. It is one of those casinos that you feel comfortable in as soon as you walk through the front door. I have recommended the Orleans to many friends and relatives and they all love it and return to the property often. This is a place I can go to by myself and never feel uncomfortable. Rooms are always clean and I love the newly remodeled rooms.
I loved to play where I stay and the Orleans never disappoints me!

We stayed for the Viva Las Vegas Event...what a fun time! Even though there were 10,000 people that attended, we never waited in long lines. We stayed the night and had the greatest room!! Clean, comfortable and close to the event. Definitely worth the $$!

Room Tip: Ask for handicap access to get the walk-in shower!

The only down side to The Orleans is location. It's a bit off the strip, HOWEVER, there is a shuttle to Bally's about every 20 min that is free. The buffet is great for the money, the cafe restaurant is a great value also. The rooms are big and clean. We go with kids, so the Bowling, Movies, Arcade etc are all a nice bonus.

No sound proofing in the rooms. Beds had flat sheet in stead of fitted sheet. Blood stain on shower curtain. Shuttle bus was rickety and noisy. The only bright point was the pool. That was wonderful. I just wish they had a waitress to come around to take our drink orders. It was a long walk to pool bar from some areas of the pool. Gambled quite a bit was never approached for a drink. Ill stay on the strip for better service.

It was our first visit to this property and our first time staying off the strip. While we were hesitant in staying off the strip, we thought we would give it a try as we have been to Vegas enough to know the strip from top to bottom. We had visited the Orleans for a day event on our last Vegas excursion which peaked our curiosity. We loved the Mardi Gras decor - it was fun and colourful. So, when planning our most recent trip, we decided to check out the reviews on Trip Advisor for the Orleans. And to our surprise, the reviews, for the most part were very good. So.... we booked our 7 night visit at the Orleans and again, to our surprise, the price was VERY reasonable.

Now for the good stuff.... and it's all good....

The rooms are clean and very large. We paid the extra $10.00 for a newly renovated room. While the bathroom fixtures are a little outdated, the room was more than satisfactory. There is a resort fee of $12.00 per day, however, this fee includes Wi-fi and the use of the in-room safe, something most other resorts charge dearly for. The beds are comfortable as well as the pillows. One little downside about the rooms was that there was no closet, just a bar and hangers in the bathroom, which I got used to. Speaking of which - the bathrooms are a very good size with cute little windows that open to let fresh air in.

There is so much to do at this resort - it even has a bowling alley and movie theatre. There are several restaurants to choose from. It's not 5 star food, but it was definitely good value for your money. They also have a liquor store that is much cheaper than the duty free store so check it out - you'll be pleasantly surprised at the value and the selection.

The pool area is quite nice and has a tropical feel to it - and the pool is heated. The sun doesn't quite hit the pool until late morning/early afternoon, thus the reason for having it heated. However, we were at the pool pretty much every morning as the sun does hit the poolside first thing in the morning.

The staff are friendly and helpful, including the drivers of the free shuttle to the strip. Yes - a free shuttle that runs about every 30 minutes to and from the strip. (It's about a 10 - 15 minute trip, depending on the traffic.) Last pick up on the strip is about midnight but if you happen to miss it, it's only a quick $12.00 taxi ride back to the hotel.

Overall - I can't say anything bad about the Orleans. We loved it and highly recommend it. They will definitely be seeing us again!

Room Tip: A view of the strip was included in our $10.00 upgrade. While it was nice, it is quite far from the...
