booked priceline for outstanding deal with car rental. airfare was my airmiles rewards whoo-hoo. best part was the convenient shuttle bus from hotel to fashion show mall, so i only used car for a few excursions including grand canyon which i highly recommend. great value for money. food was good for reasonable price and there were always lots of breakfast/lunch/dinner specials advertised. keep in mind this is not the mirage/mgm grand you get what you pay for. next time i won't even reat a car because the hotel provides shuttle to/from airport as well. my last day on the strip i found superman lol!

Room Tip: Tower room 11th floor overlooking highway

I recently stayed for three nights at the Palace Station Hotel and Casino. I was there on a combination business/pleasure trip as part of the West Coast pipe Show Convention. The hotel staff that took care of us at the convention were professional and very curteous and helpful. The show was a smashing success thanks to them! My hotel room was also super clean and the maid service was impressive as they were unobtrusive and thorough. Plenty of amenities as well. Just an overall terrific experience and I doubt I'd want to stay anywhere else on my next trip to Vegas.

Value, but off the strip & be sure to add in the $15 per day "resort fee" bacause the price they quote you doesn't include it. Almost every chain hotel has free wireless, a pool and free local calls, this is not worthy of a resort fee. We found the beds to be too soft for our backs and this caused a slight back ache.
The casino is bright and clean but a long walk from front to back. The pays on the video poker are good The pool is small and a long walk from the tower room across the casino with NO CHANGING ROOM.

This is my fourth visit and as in previous visits i was very pleased with the cleanliness, the cost and the facilities. Would recommend to anyone who doesn't want to stay on the strip!

Room Tip: I personally prefer the rooms pass the hair salon for easy access to the smaller (and quieter) pool...

Fantastic for the price. The airport shuttle services were great also. Rooms average for a hotel, but since it was hostel pricing, it was fantastic. Much exceeded expectations, would certainly recommend.

This was our second time staying in the Palace Station tower and we had a good stay. The room amenities and decor remind us of a Holiday Inn. The room was well cleaned each day and we did not hear a sound from above, beside, or in the hallway. There is a nice view of the strip or downtown from the higher floors. The only thing that made us cranky is that on top of the room rate is the "resort fee" of nearly $17.00 per night ($15 plus tax) - we were aware of it and factored it in. For that, as the list in our room stated, you get: use of the pool (isn't that usually included anyway - it is an adequate but not fancy pool area), use of gym (again, smaller but adequate), in room internet, free phone calls, free daily newspaper left at the door, and a shuttle to the strip running several times daily.
We have never stayed in the 2 story courtyard rooms, which are plainer and cheaper but have the same resort fee.
