“Conveniently located”
Reviewed 7 November 2013

Just got back from a trip to Las Vegas. This year we stayed at the Suites at Polo Towers and found it to be very conveniently located just off the strip. It's an easy walk to the Casinos at the south end of the strip.

We had a 2-bedroom unit that was adequate. The lock-off unit (2nd bedroom) had a murphy bed and a kitchenette. The lock-off was small, but okay for one person.

This timeshare has plenty of amenities: a pool on the roof, fitness center, business center, and convenience store right on the premises. The staff was very helpful and courteous - never had a complaint. Rooms were clean and we had daily maid service. No complaints.

If you walk over to the Monte Carlo (across the street & south a few blocks) you can catch a tram that will take you to the City Center and to the Bellagio. Saves on taxi fares. You can also walk to the Excalibur a couple of blocks further south & take a tram to the Luxor and Mandalay Bay. MGM is right next door and you can take the monorail to go north on the strip.

I stayed at the Polo Towers during a very busy tradeshow week. I picked the Polo because the majority of my business was at the Bellagio across the street, and the location was perfect. It was also very reasonably priced through my Time Share company as a "Get Away" booking. The one and two bedroom suites were booked up, so i grabbed one of the small "Studio" suites. It was just fine for my needs. The room was small, but very clean and comfortable. The listing of a "murphy bed" was a bit scary, but it was quite comfortable. Nice bathroom with a big walk in shower. Tons of dresser drawer space. A small desk. And a nice TV. What else do you need for a 5 day work trip? The hotel itself was a bit nicer than I would have thought based on the reviews. The decor was fresh and not dated like other hotels. It is clean. And the staff is most excellent. I took a peek into one of the bigger suites and thought it would be a nice place to stay on vacation with the family. The location was perfect. And with no casino in the building, it has a quieter and safer feel for the family visitor. A nice place. I would stay here again without hesitation.

This was my first stay in this property. Easy quick check in with friendly staff. I have stayed in Diamond International properties before (Santa Fe, NM) & they are pretty much the same overall. I love that they have suites with full kitchens even though I don't cook. The sq ft & floor plans are nicely done. Oh my the beds are SO comfy. They have laundry rooms that are free, you buy/bring soap. A free 24 hr business center comes in handy for printing boarding passes. Convenient mini mart in the lobby for all the things you forget. Room had a TINY balcony, but your not there for the view. Nice to have though.

The pool was smaller compared to the other resorts they have. Hot tub was hot enough. The cabanas are FREE (rare in LV) & first come, first served. BBQ grills there as well. I didn't use the exercise room or room service or any restaurants they may have had. The location is super close to the strip w/o paying strip prices. Many restaurants near by. Love there is no casino on property.

My ONE issue is their timeshare presentation. I was told 90 mins (from the concierge) & didn't even get to the price by then. I had to leave for an other presentation. They tried to tell me I would forfeit my gifts for leaving. I went straight to the front desk & spoke to the awesome timeshare MGR who got my gifts for me. I hate being lied to & will not sit through another one. I would just say NO to attending. If you do attend, I was given another 2 night stay Sun-Wed I won't use & a $100 Visa gift card that I used that night.

Read other reviews to better plan your trip as I did that & it really helped. Had I skipped the timeshare, I would have given a 5 star review. Overall, I had a blast for my birthday wknd.

Room Tip: Ask for strip view & higher floor. I was in the Tower 3 with the view of the parking lot.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your recent stay here at Polo Towers Suites and Villas. We were most certainly pleased to read that our accommodations, amenities, and location exceeded your expectations. In regard to your concerns about our concierge and sales staffs, the 90 minutes timeframe is an estimation of how long your presentation will last. That being said, the type of behavior you describe of our sales staff is not representative of our Chairman’s “Meaning of Yes” mantra, and we will make sure steps are taken to ensure this kind of behavior will not be repeated. We were glad to see our manager was able to resolve your issues and provide your gifts to you. Your recommendation is greatly appreciated, and we look forward to seeing you again the next time you visit Las Vegas.

Looking for a great value on the Las Vegas Strip?? Consider the Polo Towers! Wife and I stayed in mid-october and loved it. Large, suite style room with a full kitchen, jetted tub, etc. Great value.

Things to consider:
• Right across the street from the Aria and in between MGM and the Planet Hollywood, but set back off the street.
• Hotel, not a casino. Therefore not as many on site amenities, but quieter, better room. No glitz and glamour, but a very nice room/hotel nonetheless.
• Option of a full eat in kitchen with shuttle to take you to a grocery store. Save money.
• It is a part of a timeshare/vacation rental worldwide chain. They will offer you an opportunity to sit through a sales pitch, but its not mandatory. We said no, with no grief or pressure.

All in all, we had a great time, and would stay here again if we wanted to be on the strip. Great services, room and value.

My wife & I just returned from Las Vegas with a 5 night stay at the Polo Towers. Since it was just the 2 of us, we opted for a studio with a kitchenette and this turned out to be a big mistake. While the unit was very nice & clean, and the location on the strip was great, the noise coming from the adjoining 1BR unit thru the connecting door was intolerable. One night our neighbors must have had 6-8 people in their unit partying 'til 3AM so we couldn't even drown the noise out with our TV. Fortunately, we had earplugs which definitely helped. In talking with others who had 1 & 2 BR units, they didn't have the same issue as the bedrooms were isolated.

On the positive side, the staff was friendly, the hotel was well maintained and the rooftop pool/hot tub was much nicer than we expected and was in the sun all day long. The only negative with the pool was that it was only 3 feet deep all the way across but it sure felt great on hot days.
You could walk almost anywhere on the strip although we took the Deuce (double decker bus) to the Wynn & Mandalay Bay as they were on opposite ends of the strip & it would have taken about 30 minutes to walk to either one.

Room Tip: Don't pick a stusio unless you bring earplugs which we ended up using in order to sleep.

We are sincerely sorry to read that your stay here was marred by disturbance from other guests staying at the resort. We encourage guests to let us know during their stay if they have any concerns of this nature, as we will be more than happy to address this with the guests responsible.

The depth of the on-site pool is restricted by its rooftop location – we hope that this issue didn’t cause you too much disappointment.

We really hope you’ll consider returning to Polo Towers for another visit in the future – we’d love to see you again!

Just returned from a 6 night stay at Polo Towers. As it was our first trip to Las Vegas, we were a little apprehensive about what to expect, especially when it came to hotels. However, Polo Towers is the perfect place to stay if you want to be right in the middle of the strip in terms of location. The hotel is not a casino hotel, which we loved as it meant it was MUCH quieter and less busy when compared to the bigger hotels! It is located two minutes walk down a side street off the strip, which is also ideal, as it is far less rowdy.

The hotel itself was absolutely spotless and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They were extremely helpful and polite at all times. Our room was fabulous. We stayed in a one bedroom suite, which meant we also had a full kitchen. This meant we could have breakfast before going out for the day, which saved us lots of money! There is a Walgreens 5 minutes down the road, where you can get groceries etc.

We spent a morning by the pool, which is situated on the roof top. Again, this gives it a really nice, relaxed feel as it is away from the hustle and bustle of the strip.

We would definitely return to this hotel and hope to visit Vegas again soon!

Friendly staff checked us in early. Kitchen was great to have for snacks and breakfast. We stayed the previous night at the belligio and this was just as good for location. Laundry rooms on every third floor. Pool on roof was nice.
