Stayed there on a last minute exchange. traded 2 bedroom unit and got a one bedroom unit as I requested. Rented car at airport and was surprised it is only 10 to 15 minutes away. Checked in @ 1:30 and room was ready. Room was excellent with a decent view of the Strip. Hotel is in center of Strip and we were able to walk everywhere except for a few places that a car was needed. Front desk was very friendly and answered all my questions. Will come back again and bring rest of family.

After reading the other reviews, I was kinda scared of this hotel, but I must say job well done by Polo Towers. Everything was great, I like to be straight up with people bc I want the same. This is a great hotel and I would recommend it to others.

The hotel is slightly (200 meters) off the strip which is good because it is easy to access but yet not right ontop of it. The room itself was clean functional and had a mini kitchen which was amazing! The only downside was that whilst we were here for 3 nights, the tv remote stopped working twice, the light seemed to stop working ( yet no fault could be found), and the toilet was temperamental. However none of these were major problems. I would still recommend and stay at this hotel!

Stayed at Polo Towers on August with my husband and another couple, definitely a great place to stay. We had a 2 bedroom condo, great rooms, a lot of space, each room with it's own bathroom, we would stay there again for sure. And since it has a kitchenette, we saved some money in food, we made some grocery shopping and had breakfast there, so that's a plus, specially if you're on a budget. The only downside is that they don't have enough parking spaces, even if you want to use the valet service...you have to park in a lot that's next to the hotel...but other than that...it was a great place to stay.

For $46/night (+ tax), we were positioned well on the Strip. We asked for a room overlooking the Strip and were not disappointed with our 14th floor room. The rooms are either larger rooms, or smaller rooms (obviously they join them together to make a suite). We had a smaller room where the bed is a "murphy bed" (ie: folds up into the wall, replaced by a couch when it is folded away.

As others have noted, the couch cushions and table need to be stored somewhere whilst the bed is down and therefore the space in the room is definitely cramped at times. We just threw the cushions under the bed, pushed the table against the wall and left the room in that configuration for our stay without too many issues.

Freebie alert: Internet is extra (though if you stand on the balcony (only small rooms have balconies) you can connect to the free McDonald's wifi which is located about half a block away)....*grin*

Others have reported walking down dark alleys to get to the hotel because it's slightly off the Strip. We were aware of these reviews but did not in any way feel threatened at any time whatsoever. Yes, you do need to walk off the Strip about 120m but the side road you walk along is used for vehicle access and there's a McDonalds nearby and plenty of people around so hardly the danger zone others have described. You're more likely to die of passive smoke cancer from the casinos...

Hotel staff were efficient at check-in. After entering our details in the computer, one staff member passed us to another who offered free tix to a show if we went to a 90 min timeshare presentation. I replied we were only in town for 48 hours and had no time to do either the timeshare or that show and that was the end of the discussion, no further pressure at any time.

We took the airport shuttle to the hotel for $12 return per person, and they picked us up precisely on time at the front door so transport to and from the hotel is a breeze. There was a list of hotel-provided shuttle bus trips (eg: supermarket on Friday afternoon) in our room though we did not avail ourselves of the service.

We would definitely stay at this hotel again - very cheap and well positioned.

The only thing I can say that is positive, is the location. That's it! Small rooms, extra charges, check out 10am. No tub, murphy bed, no ice, tried to double charge me. Go somewhere else!

While researching the Polo Towers (as a timeshare exchange) I had a lot of trouble understanding the layout of the property. It's ONE property that goes by the names The Villas at Polo Towers and the Suites at Polo Towers. I could never tell what the difference was and the long and short of it is there is no difference. They both have the same types of rooms and have one lobby, check-in, pool, etc. I was pleasantly surprised at it's good location; not directly ON the Strip, but behind some sort of outdoor bar and souvenir shop which doesn't affect the view. You're right in front of the City Center, next door to Planet Hollywood and lots good restaurants are in walking distance. Some rooms have awesome views, some have no view. The room was large and daily maid service was a welcome feature - not one you usually get at a timeshare. The rooftop pool was a great departure from the typical Vegas overcrowded, loud pool. And because it is rooftop, you get a very nice breeze that again, is a departure from pools surrounded by buildings (think Caesars, Monte Carlo, Luxor, Mirage). My husband took advantage of the fitness center (free) every day and enjoyed it. Overall, a good stay.
