I stayed here a few nights either side of a trip rafting through the Grand Canyon. It's about 20 mins walk from the strip (on a good bus route, the 202) and there's a few chain-style places around to eat and drink.
The place itself is clean, well equipped and friendly. The apartments are well-equipped and it's nice to settle down with a cup of tea or coffee, water is drinkable from the tap (with jugs to cool it in the fridge), very comfy beds and tons of storage and work space.
The gym was small but under-used and reasonably well-equipped, the pool was again small but good for a refreshing dip.
The hotel is secure and it's OK walking around the surrounding area at night as long as you're sensible.
And finally - good free buffet breakfast, with choice of eggs, various meat products, bread/ bagels/ pastries, yogurts, fresh fruit and cheeses, juices, tea and coffee, and make-your-own waffles. It does get busy, but there's loads of sitting space.
Would stay again if I needed to be in Las Vegas and off-strip wasn't a problem. More
