“Makes you feel like a king and queen”
Reviewed 13 May 2011

From beginning check in to check out we were treated very well.
Slight glitch in the beginning but they resolved it very quickly and nicely as well.
The room was glamerous and very clean.
The dining was wonderful with the likes of delicious Chinese from Blossoms, to great food selections, and service from Vettro cafe.
I could not find fault with any part of our stay.
I worry sometimes reading some reviews but think some are just from grumpy people in general.
Every staff we came across was extremely friendly and helpful in anyway.
The beds are beyond like sleeping on a cloud.
Our room was a corner suite so now we are more spoiled to say the least.
Highly reccomend Aria to anyone looking for a classy, wonderful vacation.

Room Tip: Be courteous to people

The accommodations are fabulous. State if the art rooms, pools etc. The service is horrible. Desk agents were rude and seemingly intentionally unhelpful. Wait staff in all the on-site bars and clubs were horrible. Rude, slow. These people seem really unhappy to be employed. The ONLY exception was our hostess in the poolside cabana. Seriously will not stay here again. Very disappointed.

My wife and I stayed at Aria in April and were very pleased. Check-in was a breeze and the rooms were terrific. Lots of space, fabulous beds, very nice bathrooms. We would have liked a tub in the room and the lack of a coffee maker is ridiculous, but that's Vegas. The pool area is nice and chilled. Dining options aren't particularly affordable, but there are lots of alternatives nearby. The only negative was that service was not terribly friendly nor attentive.

Room Tip: A few bucks more gets you a better view.

Went to Las Vegas for my wife's birthday and thought we would try a new hotel the Aria.
We arrived at the hotel at 2;00 and were told there were no corner suites ready to occupy. I was told the rooms were not vacated yet. What??? 11:00 is checkout. We went out to grab a bite and received a call at 5:00 our room was ready. There was a whole line next to us complaining their rooms weren't ready. Yes I read reviews about this nightmare and it happened. Moving on. Everything after that was wonderful. The corner suites are beautiful and worth the splurge. Very nice hotel and great location! I would stay again. The hotel just needs the check in improved.

I stayed at the Aria for three nights with my wife this past weekend and we both thought it was a good experience. The hotel was busy, but we didn't wait long at the check-in. They didn't mention the weight sensitive snack tray in the room so when my wife picked up a box of almonds to see what they were she didn't realize until after that we would be getting charged for them ($12). Not a problem though, we called the front desk and they took the charges off our bill.

The hotel itself is very contemporary with all the amenities you'd expect from a prime hotel on the Strip. The rooms are large and comfortable with plenty of drawer and closet space, as well as a spacious bathroom. The electronic controls for lighting, curtains, etc will appeal to the techie travelers, and there's a control panel to hook-up your laptop to the flat panel TV. We were on a smoke-free floor so we didn't have to deal with cigarette smoke other than on the main floor areas.

We're not gamblers so we didn't really spend any time in the casino other than walking through to get to where we were going. In comparison to others I didn't find that it was overly noisy and navigating through it was pretty painless.

There are quite a few restaurants to choose from if you eat in the hotel; getting pastries at the Jean Phillipe Patisserie is well worth it, fresh and delicious, although out of our entire stay this was the one place we thought where the service didn't meet our expectations. One night we were getting a late snack and although we were already inside looking at what to get before they closed the doors they refused to serve us saying that the customers at the cashier were the last ones. The other time my wife had ordered a crepe and the person taking the order wrote it down wrong so when the girl was making it my wife pointed out that isn't what she ordered; the girl eventually made the right one, but had all sorts of attitude about it. We ate at the buffet for breakfast one morning and there were many things to choose from; the food there was no better or worse than other Vegas hotels we've stayed at and we didn't find that there was anything wrong with it. It is still a buffet, so don't expect it to taste like its all been cooked a la carte (except the omelette station). We also ate at the Julian Serrano restaurant which serves a tapas menu. Between us and the other couple we traveled with we ordered eight dishes and they were all very tasty. The service was very good.

There were three large outdoor pools with plenty of loungers; we never had a problem finding one, and there were no issues with getting enough towels. We didn't order from the bar at the pool so I can't comment on the service; it seemed like there was always someone coming around to see if people wanted to order something, but we never found it obtrusive or annoying.

Overall I'd say we had a good stay and would consider staying at the Aria again. In the past we've also stayed at Treasure Island and the Red Rock Resort & Casino. We found the Aria to be similar to the Red Rock in terms of the contemporary styling, comfort and service. The TI was fine too, but seems a bit tired by comparison.

Room Tip: Rooms at the end of the halls are a bit larger
