“Amazing room - corner suite!”
Reviewed 10 June 2012

Upgraded on check in from a regular room to a 1000 sq ft corner suite. Really impressive room and bathroom which was technologically very advanced. Only spent 1 night here so hard to give a well rounded impression of the whole complex. However, the resort has been kept immaculately and one has to remember it is a 5000 room hotel so it is more like running a mini city than a hotel so there will clearly be flaws in some aspects of the service but generally a very positive experience.

I stayed at the Aria for five nights in May. The resort doesn't have the typical casino feel so if this is what you're after then this may not be the place for you. However, if you're after something super modern and classy then the Aria will suit you. The rooms were great, really modern and had everything you need (even down to the cosmetic magnifying mirror!!). The bed is the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Each room has a floor to ceiling window which provided us with a great view of Vegas, especially at night. The resort has great facilities such as the gym, three pools, pool club, shops and restaurants so if you don't want to leave the Aria for the day, you don't have to. However, if you do want to leave Aria, it's right in the middle of the strip so shops and restaurants are within walking distance and you can even catch the monorail which stops at Aria and will take you further down on the strip. All in all this is a great resort and I will definitely be back!

Apparently the computers for all of th MGM properties was down, so ee had to wait over an hour and a half to check in on a very busy Friday. The staff did the best that they could do, but it was really annoying and frustrating after a long day of travel. Compensation was NOT offered, unless asked for, and it seemed like every clerk was on their own in what was offered. A free night should have been the minimum for the aggravation and poor service.
Other than that, the hotel is very modern and lovely. The room, when we finally got into it, was comfortable. The high tech features are pretty cool, but if you are a guest intimidated by electronics, you would have difficuly opening the curtains, adjusting the temp and turning off the lights!
Access to Bellagio and Monte Carlo is via tram.
The buffet was great, although a bit pricey, for dinner and brunch.
There seemed to be no sense to the table limits; apparently they were set at the whim of the individual pit boss. When we sat at a $15 3 card poker table and asked if we could play for $10, he said "sure".
We love the Bellagio,, but I would stay at the Aria again if the rate was good and check-in smoothed out.

Our first stay at the Aria Resort did not disappoint. We had wonderful service from the moment we checked in to catching the taxi back to the airport. Our room was amazing, with a great view of the strip. It did take a few minutes to figure out the lighting system, but once we mastered that it was so convenient to program the lights, TV, temperature and curtains all from a bed-side monitor. Dual sinks and comfortable robes were a definite plus. The water pressure was a little lacking, but that was our only complaint to find. In-room safe very functional. Bed very comfortable and room extremely quiet.

This resort has one of the best fitness centers I've ever used. Cybex weight equipment and cardio machines allowed for a full workout each day. The chilled lemon water in the lounge area afterwards was quite refreshing!

Pool area offered an amble supply of loungers to use, and easy to find a shady spot either under an umbrella or trees. Wonderful pool-side service by friendly staff. I recommend the pina colada!

Buffet for supper was enjoyable and was amused by the number of people that loaded up their plates with nothing but crab legs to eat. They missed out on succulent beef and chicken dishes, and an amazing artichoke ravioli. Good selection for desert as well.

The property itself is beautiful, the artwork and architecture are unique. Love the water wall and fountain at main entrance. Easy access to other hotels, shopping and restaurants without having to go out in the Vegas heat or battle the crowds on the strip was a definite plus.

It will be interesting to see what show replaces the Viva Elvis performance, which was very enjoyable.

Looking forward to a future stay at the Aria.

First of all you must realize you are staying in a hotel with 5000 rooms! This is not an intimate boutique experience. Having said that I am a frequent visit here. The rooms are spacious offer state of the art technology. When you go to sleep at night one button closes the drapes, shuts off the tv and all the lights... You can also control all functions from your bedside. There is a neat monorail which will swiftly move you to adjacent MGM properties expanding the selection of restaurants and fast/faster food opportunities. Finally, the Aria, due probably to its enormous capacity, offers some of the very most competitive rates for a 5 star resort.

Room Tip: Make life easier and get a room relatively close to the elevator. You may also prefer the striking...

What a fantastic hotel with the most modern conveniences available! We enjoyed the location...easy to get to everywhere. The free tram stops at Aria. Beds were extremely comfortable and it was great to control everything in the room, including the drapes, by touch screen!
