“Fantastic in every way”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 July 2014

Our first time at Aria - stayed because a bunch of our colleagues/friends were staying here. Wow, very impressed with everything, especially the staff, our room and the luxurious feel of the place. The pools were fantastic and the buffet was super yummy. Would highly recommend - won't be disappointed.

This is our 2nd stay at Aria. We love this hotel!

Our room was on a corner facing the strip on the 17th floor. Really nice views. When you open the door to your room the drapes open up to the let sun in and the tv screen has your name on it and welcomes you to Aria...very nice touch!

The entry to our room had a fairly long hallway with 2 closets to hang and as set of drawers for your clothes...also a nice big mirror to check out how you look both coming and going.

The bathroom is HUGE! The soaking tub and rain head shower are behind a glass wall...really nice "wet" area. The toilet is also behind a frosted glass wall area. There are double sinks and a lighted make up mirror with lots of counter space.

You sink down into the king sized and has down pillows (my personal favorite). A very comfortable sleep. Nice big TV but we didn't check out whether there was HBO or Showtime etc. Our only complaint about the TV was the sleep timer would only let us put in 45 minutes.

The pool area is our favorite! There are a number of pools and lots of loungers for everyone.
Lots of palm trees and the way the building is situated allows for a lot of shade until well after noon. There are people walking around taking drink orders plus there is an icy cold water fountain with paper cups.

Check in was actually quite fast especially with the long line up we had. There were at least 50 people ahead of us and we got to the front and checked in, in well under 20 minutes.

Aria is a wonderful hotel to book when you are in Las Vegas. We have always booked directly with them (not through Expedia etc) and gotten a decent rate (AAA) and have been really well treated. We will definitely be back!

Staff was friendly and the technology is interesting to play with. They also supplied my wife and I with complimentary treats from Jean Philippe for our anniversary. Those didn't make up for someone else's moldy food in the mini fridge and dirty sock left on the floor as well as the lights not working by the bed.

Aria was a very classy hotel/resort located right in the middle of the strip. We arrived in the morning but we checked in and they held our bags. They sent us a message when our room was ready, which they did get it ready for us 2 hours early, which we appreciated.

We had a deluxe room on the 22nd floor with a view of the strip. The view however, meant that we got a good amount of eastern sun in the morning. The curtains were dark, but a lot of light came over the top and sides of the curtains which woke us up earlier than we wanted - I would recommend bringing a sleep mask. Also, close the curtains if you go out during the day, because it keeps the room cooler. Our ac was running the majority of the time, but it still felt warm in the room in the mornings. The bathroom was awesome, shower great. The beds were the most comfortable that I have experienced in a hotel.

The concierge service was very helpful. We simply called from our room and used them to book 2 dinner reservations and 2 shows and got excellent seats both times. We had 4 girls, so when we called housekeeping they promptly brought us extra toilet paper, towels, and even a toothbrush that one person forgot to bring.

We enjoyed the pool, particularly liked the beach entrance on one of the pools. The cocktails at the pool bar were great. We wished the pool was opened past 8 pm though....

Overall the hotel was nice, clean, in a great location with great service. I would recommend staying here and I would definitely stay here again.

stayed 4 days last week, hotel & employees are very nice, but a lot of negatives also! Since I travel a lot thru the years I know these things and at one time work years at hotels, this hotel has control of the air conditioner in your room, does not matter how cool you want it they have it set, for sure thur the early am of 2 or 3 hours you get hot no matter how low you have it on , then closer to daylight you will notice it gets cooler and you are waking up and they think you are sleeping and not aware of this.
also the shops are way too pricey, we put back a bag of potato chips price at $7.50 a bag. And water there and every where is too high, not even a WATER FOUNTAIN TO BE found in this hotel, you would think WATER IN VEGAS IS GOLD! guess only free water would be the bathroom faucet, and the speaking of bathrooms, did not like the them, very dangerous, have way too much glass , one for opening to the shower and tub then why another glass one for opening to the toliet, which not much privacy when sharing room with 3 others.Make sure you don't ever fall in this bathroom, and not one for kids for sure!
Also you are force into using the $25 a day refrigerator in your room, cant believe their was NOT EVEN A "ICE BUCKET" To be found in the room, never wanted to rent the refrig. but probally ice bucket in it so they got you if you even open it due to it is Censored. Thank goodness i brought my small cloth ice cooler that i filled up with ice for the night. Also read all before staying here like we did before checking in, turn down the so called $ 100 coupon to use only in their hotel, every one gets it, if you accept it then you have to for sure put $130. a day on your c card to be able to use that so called $100 coupon, for incidentals , this way you might get tempted to buy those $ 7.50 bag of chips in the gift shop in the hotel. The only thing you WILL HAVE TO do is put a $200.00 deposit for you stay, which is ok , just not the $130.00 incidentals which is not necessary. Oh, also the $200.00 deposit is CASH ONLY not credit card, but we did not want to leave our cash and told hotel clerk we never were told this so she was nice and got approval from her manager to hold on our Credit card. Also the hotel shops did not benefit us, they are not like the other hotel shops on the strip, way over price and not a lot of good deals if you are looking for the average price and Souvenirs, not a lot of average food to eat or prices either on food. Also, there is a $25.00 resort fee you don't know about till you arrive, crazy but you can not get out of it, for a newspaper, who read that know days and for sure NOT while in Vegas, then also for the use of the workout room? come on, really dumb, then for use of the phone in the room and wi fi- people have their own phones now days! MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO SIT DOWN AND REALLY HAVE A MEETING ON DOING AWAY WITH THIS ONE, OR COME ON AND PUT YOUR HEADS TOGETHER FOR ANOTHER BETTER WAY TO GET $ 25 FEE A DAY FOR A RESORT NOT A RESORT ANYWAYS DUH " ARIA " H O T E L '

Got taken here as a birthday surprise before going to St Lucia and was dreading it because Las Vegas really isn't my thing, or so I thought!

We did have to queue for a while to get to check in, but it was worth it. My partner goes to the Aria every year for a large conference and had emailed ahead to ask for a complimentary upgrade due to this, to which they said they would. When we checked in, the man realised after looking at my passport that it was my birthday in 2 days (it was also his birthday the day before mine) and so offered us an upgrade on our upgrade! We ended up in a Junior Suite which was absolutely breathtaking.

Fantastic room, with a brilliant view. Huge bathroom, lighting, tv and curtains all controlled by a single remote. Bed really comfortable. Maid very good. Spoke to concierge 3-5 times while we were there and every time they were incredibly helpful and polite.

Only bad experience was with a very rude waitress in the lobby bar that we ended up leaving the bar because of, which was unfortunate and slightly tainted the experience of the hotel but not enough to stop me from giving it 5 stars.

On my birthday we went to Bar Masa, a high quality sushi restaurant situated within the hotel. This was probably the best dining experience I've ever had. Expensive but you get what you pay for and it was worth every single penny…or cent! I love sushi and it was spectacular. Don't be put off if you don't like sushi though as it has a large variation. Great wine and lovely, polite and helpful staff. Also very nice sake for beginners!

Location also very good - close enough to the strip to be able to walk but not directly on it so you don't feel as if you're right in the middle of the madness which is very nice.

Had a fantastic time in Vegas and didn't do the 'normal' stuff people do there. Will definitely return to Vegas and definitely return to the Aria.
