We stayed at the Carriage House from 08 Nov through 15 November. This was our 2nd stay at the Carriage House.

The highlights:
>the location is excellent. Imagine all the fun of the strip without the crowds, noise, and hassle.
>the Staff is always helpful and pleasant. We went to them several times for directions, advice, and help. They were great!
>the Housekeeping Staff was equally helpful. Norma took great care of us throughout the week and was just awesome.
>parking is right in front of the hotel and is free.
>this hotel is almost like a private residence. Seldom did we see other guests and since there is no casino, bar, or restaurant; the only people you see are other guests or staff
>security is always visible in the lobby from late afternoon

Our wishlist:
>the showerheads are noisy and not very "friendly". They tend to be harsh and sound like a jet plane taking off. Not a big deal.
>move up to better TV coverage. The limited channels and no way to review the current channel guide other than going through the channels tends to be annoying. Again - not a big deal.

Our only disappointment:
>We had requested a higher floor with strip view and somehow ended up on the back side, 2nd floor, parking lot and monorail view. Not sure how this happened. The noise was minimal and unless a loud motorcycle went by, we never had a problem.

We did ask the Staff about the top floor which used to house a restaurant and from what we understand, it was quite good. We were told that area is going to be remodeled for addtional units.

We were in a 2/2 unit with outstanding space. If you are traveling with kids, another couple or a large family, we would highly reccomend this unit.

We've stayed at MGM, NYNY, and TI and would pick Carriage House over any of these. If you want a hotel room, Las Vegas has 1000s of them. If you want the comfort of a vacation home, stay at Carriage House. You won't be disappointed. (And splurge for the 2/2 - you'll love the space!)

We'll definitely be back soon!

First I would like to point out the location. Just two block from the center of the strip, you can walk to most places without to use a car or taxi. Then, the hotel is very clean and quiet since it doesn´t have a casino, so once you get back to your room it is relax time.
The hotel has a laundry room for guest to use, a nice gym (which in reality is a very good treadmill), free internet, free parking, and a nice coffemaker to enyoy every morning.
I think this is a great place for people that want to enjoy a nice hotel at a great price, next to the action (not in it).

The location is great... close to the strip. The pool and tennis courts were clean and secure. In fact, the entire facility felt very secure as you needed a key card to enter the building after hours and a key card to ride the elevator at all. The staff was extremely helpful. We cooked and baked as if we were at home for a few nights and went out the rest. It was nice to have such spacious and clean accomodations. Thank you to the staff at Carriage House.

Our families stay at the Carriage House was a great experience. They are located just off the strip and will convenient access to I-15. The hotel was clean and family friendly. There was no noise, casino, or night club at the hotel itself. If you want a quite place close to all the attractions, but where you are comfortable with your young children walking around this is the place. They have a small kitchen in the room. They have movies, games and pool toys you can check-out free of charge in the lobby. Parking is free and close. You don't have to walk a quarter mile from your car to the registration desk to your room like most traditional Las Vegas hotels. The staff was friendly and personable. Thank you for a great stay!

We stayed there for two nights--start and finish of a long road trip with kids ages 10 and 8. The service was terrific. I had a lot of back and forth with the manager, Marie, in advance of the trip. I hemmed and hawed about which room size (the rooms are decent size and even the simple rooms have fridge and microwave) and had them book our rental car at a better rate than I could find online. Marie was amazing--returning my emails in near real time and patiently guiding me through my choices and mind changing. She even negotiated with Budget so we could get picked up at the hotel to go to the rental car place--and drop it off at the airport later without extra charge. We checked into a lovely room, had nice attention from staff, and the location is superb--a street off the strip, so it's a little more quiet. But within a quick walk to everything. My only complaint was a noisy fan in our room and the fact that we couldn't leave the bathroom light on at night as a nightlight for our kids because the light came with a loud extractor fan automatically. Other than that, a very nice hotel and nice stay.

Would definitely stay there again in Vegas.

We stayed here through exchanging out timeshare. Excellent location, 2 mins off the strip, nice to get away from all hussle of the strip. We had a one bedroom apartment (sleeps 4) for 3 adults and one child. The beds were seperated by a vertical blind, not ideal if you want privacy however room was spacious and had everything you needed. Its a long way (decor and amenities wise) from the grand hotels on the strip but thats actually what we liked about it. Would definately stay again, cant wait to return to vegas

There are many better hotels to stay at. If are a non-smoker you will not be happy to know evertime I stepped out to enjoy the pool (which is not heated nor nice) more than one person was smoking a cigar or ciggarette, as there are ash trays at every lounge chair. There are no shuttles from the hotel. The grocery store is 2 miles away. You will need car rental. They shorted me in my room and gave me the smallest kitchen i have ever seen. Do not rent a car through them, I had a very bad experience with different quotes and availability. This is not a premeir resort, just ahotel in need of renovation. If you have a complaint good luck getting any results. Ice machine on 9th floor. Go to Fremont street, lots of fun and good prices....the golden nugget was fun!!!
