“The Surprises Around Every Corner”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 April 2014

I recently stayed in the hotel and found that there are some shady practices. One is that there is a mandatory charge that covers internet and some other things that is charged when you check in. If that is the case add it to the room cost so I can budget. At check out the staff was nice enough to say I would be charged for a receipt for my room or I could just get it emailed to me. Well I chose the email route and still haven't received it. "charge me for my receipt for paying you" come on. Like a casino needs to nickel and dime you after you stay.

The hotel Staff however and the conditions of the casino were very nice. I really enjoyed staying there. I just don't like surprise billings. and No receipt.

Scott

Room Tip: More outlets in the rooms would be nice around the desks.

We booked a room for the weekend through Priceline. I was expecting to just sleep in the room and be out on the strip the whole time but my husband and I ended up not feeling so great the first day and lounged in the room for a while. We had the Petite Suite and it couldn't have been much better. It was on the 19th floor and close to the elevators, which was nice after a night spent walking. We didn't have a view of the strip but we did have a nice view of the mountains (though the Trump Tower was kind of an eyesore). Our room had two bathrooms and was a generous size which was nice because we didn't feel like we were on top of each other when we were hanging in the room. The bed was a little too soft for my liking but not a deal breaker. I slept soundly and didn't here much noise from the hallway or the outside other than a train or two. We did notice the hotel smelled like some overly sweet scent which had us longing for fresh air but it was definitely nicer than cigarette smoke. I didn't think we would like the pool since it had a DJ and didn't seem like it would be very relaxing but it was way better than I thought. We grabbed some chairs, some drinks and just hung out for a bit. We did all of our eating and most of our gambling off property but TI has a great location to hit up all of the other casinos. Overall, we were very satisfied and would definitely return.

Did you know as a paying guest you don't have a right to use the pool at the TI. TI leases out the pool to a third party and this third party can refuse entry at their whim. When asked about this the hotel management said that they have no way to ensure you have access to the pool when you reserve a room.

If you are headed to vegas to lounge around the pool I can't recommend you stay at the TI.

We apologize for any confusion, but you either misunderstood or received incorrect information. The hotel pool is available at no additional cost to TI hotel guests. The pool is not available to non-hotel guests. The food and beverage service is provided by Kahunaville Tropical Restaurant & Party Bar, but there is no obligation to purchase food or drinks. Like all other hotels in Las Vegas, there is not outside food or beverage allowed in the pool area, and the hotel does require proper ID and/or room key to enter.

Our AC didnt work in our room so they thought a down grade was sufficient.....obviously not.
So two hours later while we waited for the ac to fixed we spoke to the manager...Jesus who was rude and barely spoke english.
No help and were still waiting for our room to be fixed....3am...

Lovely clean hotel, yes they previously had issues of it being rather smokey but I understand they have rectified the issue!
The resorts fees are reasonable, room is so set up clean and tidy! I'm visiting again this year and would recommend if anyone is considering to stay at TI very reasonable good location! Got literally everything on your doorstep! Even Starbucks for that early morning moment after a few beers the night before! Highly recommended!

Found a good price on Priceline for a 3 night stay. Check-in was fast and the young man helping was very nice inquiring about our trip and gave us tips on where to take the kids to enjoy a City mainly for adults. When we got to out room, to our surprise we had a strip view! AWESOME!!! The beds were very comfortable, the room was a bit crowded as we got the two queen (which are really not queen) bed room. The room was very clean and housekeeping did a good job at keeping our room clean. We felt very safe at all times as we walked in the property. The only down side was there was construction going on on the pirate ship, so the kids weren't able to enjoy that. The only negative I can say about this hotel was Kahunaville, we paid over 200 dollars for bad service, bad food and the manager wasn't even around to be able to comment on that. Stay away from that place (at least as far as eating there goes!) Check-out was fast and the bell service was very good, fast and friendly! I will definitely stay here again!

After reading a few negative reviews we decided to give TI a try anyway because of it's location and price. I am so glad we did. We had the most wonderful stay and it could not have been more perfect. This was my wife's first trip to the USA and because of this the wonderful staff at check in up graded us to a corner room on the 17th floor with the most awesome views of the strip. Our room was clean and spacious. The free internet was fast enough for what we needed and always had a strong signal. We ate at most of the restaurants there and all of them were excellent. The casino was well layed out although not the biggest, but it has all the games and was not overly crowded. The location on the strip was very good also. We will be returning. Thank you TI for making my wife's trip to Las Vegas memorable.
