Treasure Island - TI Hotel & Casino
Ranked #74 of 264 Hotels in Las Vegas
Reviewed 5 June 2014

treasure Island remains a good place to stay in Vegas, although it is becoming a little tired in the lobby and casino. On the other hand who stays in those places all the time. The bedrooms are large, clean and have great views from the higher levels (we were on 32nd floor).

Housekeeping in rooms is very good and the bed is sooo comfortable with great linen and pillows. Complimentary toiletries are there of good quality.

Check in was quick and we were treated very well. My only gripe is I was granted a free bottle of champagne to celebrate my birthday but it was up to me to arrange delivery to my room whereas I think that could have been arranged by them. They did however upgrade our room and we had a dual view over the strip and the mountains which was amazing.

However our two week stay was great. We went to see Mystere which is the oldest Cirque on the strip. It was a good evening although a little dated.

TI is well situated on the strip making it easy to walk (!) to most hotels (it is over a mile to the Bellagio from TI and over 3 miles to MGM Grand).

This was our fifth visit to TI and it didnt disappoint.... Hopefully we will be back again next year.....

Trips - we went to the Grand Canyon which iis a must for everyone who goes to Vegas. Try and see some shows (got discounted tickets from the kiosk by the Fashion Mall).

Pool - gets very sunny. If you like the shade head to the left as you go in and take the first 2 on the very last row by the tree and you will get the shade till noon at least (and still get a tan).

The Buffet is certainly better than previous years..... Not exceptional but good value.

The Coffee pot is good for a meal at 1.00 in the morning.

starbucks always a treat but NOT allowed in the pool are after 11.00 am.

Pool side s reasonable shops have goods at reasonable prices.

All in all perfect for us.

Room Tip: try for a high floor to get the best views.

The hotel is in a great location and has a great value too. There is a tram to the Mirage, easy walk to the Venetian and Harrah's. The pool is great. We rented a cabana for the day. Well worth the money - comes stocked with water and soda. Plenty of seating to give you a break from the sun. The regular lounge chairs are lined up one next to another - no wasted space. You can't step between them and it's a little awkward.

This one is an average hotel compared to others nearby. Its location is very, right on the main strip good but you have others nearby with same location advantage. Rooms are ok size but when we arrived we were given rooms that is blocked by another adjacent wing of the same hotel. It was dark and depressing. We wanted to change but were told there are none available. That was hard to believe given it was Tuesday and visibly the hotel was not fully booked. Anyway after quite a bit of discussion they agreed to change next day and we had a higher floor room with a nice window. Food choices were not great but ok, restaurants close rather quickly in this one. Next time I will try another one. Price was reasonable.

TI is in a great location. It's far enough down on the strip so you don't have A LOT of hustle and bustle but still close enough to all the attractions. We had no problem walking most of the time. Unfortunately, they don't do their show anymore which was a bummer. It's right next to the Mirage and the Volcano show. Our room (petite suite) was great and spacious with a very nice whirlpool tub but the view sucked. Decently priced for the location and their little restaurant was delicious. Would probably stay there again on our next visit!

This hotel was very nice and clean. I liked it a lot because it is in the middle of the strip. The pool was very nice I liked how they had the lounge chairs in rows. My hubby surprised me and took me to Las Vegas for my birthday. Are room wasn't ready when we checked in, so the lady at the desk gave us keys to sit bye the pool. The staff were very nice and friendly.

After visiting 6 hotels in 7 days all around the Nevada/ Arizona/ Utah area, I admit Treasure Island was the best of them all.Of course I understand that Las Vegas hotels are cheaper during week days, but this was still a great value even under those standards.

We stayed here because of the location and of course the price. It is right in the middle of the strip. The rooms were large and very clean, staff was very helpful and always professional. The bed was a little soft, but very comfortable. It is definitely showing its age, time for an update in the room. They now have Blue Man Group and Mystere on site, also a few shops, as expected. Pool area was nice and casino was good, didn't really get crazy until night time.
