“Family frindly.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 June 2014

Tower Suite was great for visiting with our family of 12 who were in LV. Large living area and two bathrooms. Price was good. Rooms very clean and neat. Sleep quality excellent. Nice pool area. Good casino. easy checkout. Generally good valet parking.. Solid four star.
Negatives- Check in was slow, no locks on bathroom doors, and no exhaust fans in baths.
Forgot to mentions, bathrooms were very nice.
Stayed 7 nights.

I have been to Vegas numerous times and I have stayed at many of the big hotels/casinos on the strip. Each hotel has a theme or personality that appeals to a different kind of traveler. This was my first time at the T.I. and I am not in a rush to go back. It was by no means terrible but it just didn't fit me, so I'll take my money elsewhere next time.
Pros: Good location on the strip. Cheap rates. Staff were friendly. Ample Starbucks. Decent buffet. Bridge to the Fashion Show Mall was awesome for a shopper like me. Rooms were ok. Nice sized bathroom and a nice bathtub. Great toiletries. I want to buy the stuff if I can find it. No sound heard from adjacent rooms although quite a lot of noise comes up from the pool.

Cons: Lots of young 21 years olds. It's geared to the "beach party" or spring break crowd...late teens/early 20's who travel on a budget and want to party. That's not me. Pool sucked. It's small and FREEZING. I don't know how water that bakes in 100 degree heat can be like ice water, but it was. Other hotels on the strip have pleasant temps set in their pools. Also someone barfed in the pool (this is the type of crowd you are dealing with) and it had to be cleared out for a long time. LOUD music thumping and blaring and can be heard all the way up in your room. Lots of wet t-shirt contests and such.
Ordered room service and it was horrible, which surprises me. Usually room service is good at a Vegas hotel. Not this time. They sent up uncooked chicken. Not just unappetizing-- that could make you really sick! Rooms were not very clean. The day to day stuff was taken care of, but it needed a hard clean. For example, there were weird spatter marks all over the back of the door in our bathroom. The grout had stains that I swear looked like blood. I have to wonder what happened in room 16016! The furniture was dusty and I found a wad of gum stuck to the side of the lamp table. Gross, people. You need to do a hard clean and take care of these things. As many others stated, the whole hotel needs a refresh and quick. The hallways are very musty. The elevators were slow. The whole thing is starting to really slip behind even some of the other older resorts on the strip. I'd stay at the Luxor over TI anyday.
Bottomline: If you are young, and you want to party on a budget, this one is for you. For everyone else, stay away.

Room Tip: Slip the check-in guy a $20 and you'll get an upgrade. Make sure you ask for the side that does...

This hotel is in the perfect location...right in the middle of the Strip. We had a room high up with huge windows looking out onto the Strip and the volcanic eruptions of the hotel next door which made for quite an unbelievable view. The room was large and decorated beautifully. We got half price tickets for the Cirque du Soleil show at the hotel for being guests. A great hotel in a great location.

Had a fantastic quick Vegas weekend at Treasure Island. We enjoyed a strip view room up on the 17th floor. The room itself covered all the basics; comfy bed, good air conditioner, mini fridge, bathroom with all the normal stuff. The blackout curtains were so good we slept in quite late without even realizing it!

We got a package deal with tickets to Mystere & our seats for the show were excellent. During our weekend stay we ate at the Coffee Shop, the Steak House, and had drinks at the Kahunaville Bar. All the food was good & the drinks were tasty. Saturday afternoon out at the pool was the perfect end to a day spent out & about in the desert heat. We aren't gamblers, so didn't really experience any of the gaming.

Room Tip: Since they don't do the pirate show anymore, go for a Strip View room. We could see the volcano...

I spent 3 nights at TI with family and friends. We all had strip view rooms on high floors. The rooms were lovely, beds were comfy and bathrooms very nice. The pool area was another story. The DJ was playing music so loud, it was impossible to carry on a conversation with someone standing right next to you. The volume was so high that it was loud in our room on the 28th floor!! The pool area felt like Cancun during spring break. If I was 30 years younger, I probably would have enjoyed myself but seeing someone puke in the pool is just not my idea of a fun time! I realize this is Las Vegas but I still feel that TI needs to warm people when booking that the resort is not family friendly.

Stayed at the TI for two nights & found it very relaxing & pleasant. It's situated right in the middle of the strip so, getting to all the attractions is a dawdle, and there are plenty to see from New York New York downtown all the way to the Freemont St experience which is in the old part of Vegas & is worth seeing especially if you have children, although, later at night it takes on a life of its own when decent folks are tucked up in bed. I have to mention the beautiful hotels that you can swan in & out of to cool down or have a flutter in the well run casinos. Don't forget to catch the fountains at the hotel Bellagio which are amazing to watch & the best free show in town. There is so much more to Las Vegas that a week would be a better length of stay.

Room Tip: We were on the third floor and it was really quiet. Can't comment on other floors but knowing th...
