Treasure Island - TI Hotel & Casino
Ranked #74 of 263 Hotels in Las Vegas
Reviewed 1 July 2014

Room is clean, service is good, location is fine if you only stay north part of the strip, which means it's a 30 min walking to Bellagio, it is not fun to expose at 40 C dessert city.

Recommendation: spend couple hundred more and stay in Bellagio, Caesars, Paris or Cosmopolitan. Guess they will give you discount to their services. Or choose Bally or Flamingo, they are cheaper and also in the heart area of the strip.

To the entertainment point of view, the pool in TI is small, the food and drinks are not attractive.

My friend and I booked a superior suite for our 2 night stopover in Vegas on our way cross-country. The room was gorgeous, 2 full bathrooms with jacuzzi tub and steam shower AMAZING, valet and baggage service spot on and quick, A/C was strong, and the whole room was wonderful...except for the god awful queen sized pull out sofa bed. It was so springy and lumpy and not something you'd expect at a budget motel, not something on the Strip. I wound up sharing the, thankfully gigantic, California King sized bed with my friend.

The casino restaurants were great, especially the Asian fusion place. That pho! Also, room service was excellent, we ordered a few desserts our last night there, pretty late, and were told 30-40 minute only to have our cheesecake and some sort of decadent chocolate monster arrive in 15 minutes.

I think the 1 thing that recommends TI over all the amenities is location, it's smack in the middle of the Strip, which is great for walking to see things because a) Strip traffic is crazy and taxis expensive and b) it's soul-sucking hot and bright during the day, so being able to get back to the hotel easily to rest for a bit is crucial to not giving yourself heat prostration in summer in Vegas.

We just returned home from staying at TI from the weekend. We had a great time. The check- in was a mess. We planned and reserved our non-smoking rooms months ahead of time. My husband even called the hotel to make sure we had non-smoking rooms. When we arrived we were told that it is first come first serve and basically " It is what it is". You apparently are guaranteed a room but not a specific smoking or no-smoking. When you reserve the room you are just giving them your preference. Nice to know. That was told to us and the 6 other people who came with us as well. We were able to finally get non smoking rooms the next day, but the staff was not very nice about it. I understand they have a job to do, but it was a mess of a situation. There were so many people checking in that were furious after hearing the exact same thing as us. After that ordeal everything went pretty smooth. Loved the options for dining , especially Gilly's . The majority of the staff was helpful and nice. The older woman bartender was crabby and does not enjoy her job at all. Kind of sad. It is a great location and everything was clean in comparison to a lot of other hotels. The view from our non-smoking room was beautiful. They do have a great points system when you get your IT players card. Wish we would have gotten that the first day we got there, but we ended up not getting one until right before we left and never used it. My sister did get it and got a lot of free stuff in one short weekend.

This hotel is brilliant for the price stayed here 4 nights and had a lovely room with an amazing view over the strip, couldnt have asked for anything better!! all the staff were lovely. We did stay out late and it was so nice to come back in the early hours and not worry about getting woken up early by people in the corridors, sound proofing at its best! I would like to say that I'd stay again but I think there is so many amazing hotels I'd like to give otheres a go but would defanatley reccomend!

It was so conveniently located on the strip. Room was great which accommodated a family of five. Great bathroom with luxurious amenities. The Buffet Sushi selections seemed it was sitting for awhile. Service was good. Kahunaville Tropical Restaurant had a limited breakfast service with mediocre service staff. It was more like a sports bar restaurant. Although my teenage children enjoyed watching their favorite sport.

Room Tip: Be prepared to show your room card when heading to the elevators. Do a walk through so you can be fa...

Stayed at TI for 3 nights with my wife and 6 family members, they were able to put all 4 of our rooms on the same floor though not all right next to each other. The rooms all had king beds and were not strip facing, which meant they faced the side of the fashion show mall, which could've been worse. The rooms were nice and clean, the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were large and the shower worked very well. We also spent a good amount of time in the casino and the sportsbook, both of which were enjoyable. In addition, we played alot of slots in many different casinos, and TI gave us more big hits on slots than any other casino we played. 2 of us also tried blackjack and had a great time with Sarge the dealer, really nice and funny guy. As for food, we did eat at both the buffet for breakfast with our half off coupons, as well as at Gilley's Saloon. The buffet was quite good, especially the baked goods but the rest of it as well. Not amazing selection but pretty good for breakfast. Gilley's I reviewed separately and would have to pass on returning again for food. As for the rest of the hotel, staff members we encountered were all friendly and helpful, and made for an enjoyable stay. This was my 2nd time staying at TI and I wouldn't hesitate to return, other than my desire to stay at every hotel on the strip!

I recently stayed at Treasure Island in my first trip to Las Vegas. We were very impressed with the hotel, it was smaller enough we didn't get lost in it but had plenty of atmosphere. I was very impressed with the customer service of the staff, check in was quite busy but the queue went quickly. Overall it was a great experience and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Room Tip: We upgraded to a strip view room and it was definitely worth it.
