We spent 8 days at the Venetian in April 2014. We traveled with a13 month old toddler and stayed in the Venezia Tower for the first time. I loved this location. The rooms are standard Venetian (wonderful/quiet/clean), but I loved the fact that the first restaurant we passed each morning was Bouchon. Bouchon became our go-to breakfast spot, and the staff remembered us from day to day. The Venezia pool had a little more shade, so it was not as busy as the other pools. It was easy to find a spot which seemed private. The pool cocktail service was also outstanding and quick. We ate at several Venetian/Palazzo restaurants, and - with the exception of a sadly jaded waitstaff at Zeffirino - they were all great. Table 10 (Palazzo, not Venetian) also gave exceptional service to a group of friends meeting up for cocktails before an evening event. Other places we visited were B&B Burger & Beer for late appetizers on the patio and Carnevino for dessert and wine. Another great stay....

A quick note to parents... Venetian provides a crib, J&J baby toiletries and a bib that says future VIP at Venetian.

Dear septlee,

Thank you for taking the time to write to us after your Venetian visit. It is definitely within the intricate, personalized details that make experiences here unique, and we are so glad that you were able to experience the charm of Italy right here in Las Vegas. I am particularly pleased to read that you enjoyed our Venezia tower. The Venezia is designed to provide a more secluded, quiet and restful experience; therefore, it is more removed from the hustle and bustle of the main casino floor and resort. It sounds like this was a perfect fit for your stay, and I am pleased to read of your satisfaction.

We look forward to welcoming you back to The Venetian in the near future.

Kind Regards,

Kirsten Dimond

The Venetian is one of the best known hotel & casino and a stay there just proves why!
The one word to describe Venetian is 'Grand'! Grand hotel, grand rooms, grand bathrooms, grand shopping mall and the list goes on...

The rooms are fabulous... and you are in for a royal treat. Staff and service is good. It helps to have a huge shopping mall and a long list of restaurants and a food court in the hotel itself. Makes the stay so much more convenient. Among amenities, the pool area is excellent and ideal for spending a lazy day, doing nothing.

This is as big as it gets... literally!

Room Tip: The strip view rooms are better, but the view comes at a price!

No I am not in the habit taking my family to a casino, but we were visiting Vegas as part of a tour of the US West coast and this turned out to be a good option to see this unique city and as a base to visit the Grand Canyon by air.
The room was very large, comfortable and well appointed with a nice view of the pools and Strip. The service was surprisingly good and personal for such a large hotel. There are plenty of non-gaming attractions with shopping and even the canals, gondola and fake St Mark's Square - all of which could have been cringeable like a lot of other Vegas attractions - but which were actually good fun (and we have been to the real Venice several times). The pools were nice, though because of the heat we only used them early in the morning and it looked like they were very crowded later in the day.
There are lots of good dining options at various price points and the taxi rank and other transport options out the front were well run making it easy to get around the rest of town.
We arrived on a Saturday evening which was a mistake - better to leave it to the hordes of fun seekers out for a good time on the weekend - and while things were getting raucous we saw nothing that was offensive or intimidating - though admittedly were in bed early by local standards.
The only reason this doesn't get a five star ranking is the sheer size of the place which is not our style - but it is Vegas !

Stayed at the Venetian for a teacher conference. The lobby and main floor are amazing, with awesome wall and ceiling paintings. The rooms were beautiful, clean and spacious. My only complaint was the lack of a coffee maker in the room and the building is a bit of a maze. The hotel has great pools, shopping, and easy access to the local sights and attractions. I defiantly recommend at if you are going to visit Las Vegas that you stay at the Venetian.

We had stayed at the MGM and Caesars before spending our last few nights in Vegas at the Venetian and I'm really glad we did. I've been to Venice, Italy, and I was very impressed by how the hotel looks and the little details. It definitely is one, if not the most impressive hotel on the strip. The room was huge even though we had quite a standard room. The swimming pools are a little small but we stayed over 4th of July weekend so it was unusually busy. Fashion Show Mall is not far across the road from the hotel and the food court and Canal shops in the hotel are very good too. If I were to go back to Vegas, I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: I don't think there is a bad room at this hotel!

We stayed at the Venetian for 6 nights in June 2014. I would have scored it 5 stars apart from one thing. On checking out we was build around £140 for the "use" of the pool, gym and wifi. This was never explained to is when booking or checking in so wasn't impressed.
Other than that this hotel is a definite must to stay when in vegas. We had a king suite, not a great view but you could pay for one.
The rooms was cleaned thoroughly daily and very comfortable.
They is everything in this hotel that you could ever want.

Dear Angie R,

Thank you for your time and for your patronage of The Venetian. From unparalleled services to the most luxurious suites on the Las Vegas Strip, we are committed to ensuring that we give above and beyond your expectations. I also wanted to take a moment and clarify our resort fee. Many guests enjoy the abundant benefits that the resort fee offers. Included in the fee is complementary internet access, access to our fitness center, a complementary cup of coffee from Cafe Presse and daily newspaper among many other benefits. I apologize if the benefits of the resort fee were not more clearly explained to you. This will be addressed.

Once again, I thank you, and I hope to welcome you back to The Venetian soon.

This was our first trip (as a couple) to Vegas and likely our last. The hotel itself is beautiful but there were some major issues which prevented us from enjoying our stay. First. the hotel smells strongly like cigarette smoke. The smoking in the casinos permeates throughout the hotel. Unless you are a smoker, prepare for watering and burning eyes, sinus headaches and more. It was bad. Secondly, during our stay, there were several groups of travel club members (Royal Travel Club, World Travel Club) that were out of control with their drinking, partying, loud noise and ruckus. Sure, this is Vegas - I wasn't expecting peace and quiet - but this was completely out of control and was honestly scary. We could not get off of the elevator at one point b/c there was a mob of drunk partygoers blocking the exit, as many tried to cram into the already crowded elevators. We were unable to sleep one of the nights due to their loud yelling in the hallways. The atmosphere was not classy, but trashy and scary. Women should not travel here alone. So glad to be home!
