My wife daughter and I stayed three nights, and had a room on the 30th floor, with a really good view over the strip. The room, with two Queen beds was comfortable and had everything we needed, the WiFi is pretty pathetic - it works, but is very weak and keeps dropping out. It got noisy at around 3,00 am with people coming back from their big nights out, and the walls were not very sound proofed.
The hotel does not have a real theme inside like Paris, Caesars, NYNY etc, but it is very easy to access with the parking building right behind, and it has all the basic shops / cafés / restaurants that you need, and of course, miles and miles of gambling "stuff" - we are useless gamblers, and only donated a total of $10 to their coffers.
The location of the Monte Carlo on the Strip is fine, and we just love walking around and checking out all of the amazing places in Las Vegas.
Check in at 3.00pm was a breeze, and Express check out over the Internet was brilliant. Check out time is 11.00am.
We liked the Monte Carlo as a a reasonably priced, well located hotel. Fix the WiFi and it will be even better.

We recently stayed in the Monte Carlo and really enjoyed our stay.Check in was painless,the lobby was pristine and we were given deluxe strip view rooms on the 24th floor.The view was amazing.The room was bigger than I expected but a little tatty nothing major though.We used two of the eateries, The Brand and The Pub both were very good. I will review them separately.A couple of tips are to use the tram to the Bellagio if you are wanting to explore,the walk comprises of a lot of steps & bridges.The tram is accessed through the Street of Dreams past The Pub.Also use the Starbucks on the way to the tram,the one in the food court gets really busy early in the morning.Overall I wouldn't think twice about staying here again,a really well run, clean hotel in a great location.

I stayed at Montecarlo's for 6 nights with my Dad and my husband. The room was big enough for all three and also the Bathroom. The Room was cleaned every day and the staff members where very friendly so last day we do not doubt to give a good tip.

The Hotel has an amazing location, in the center of the strip, with great near places to eat and shop. A convenient Tram between Montecarlo and Bellagio help us a lot to transport to other sites of the strip. Also a nice Bar named The Pub, that every day has happy hour with drinks and appetizers in $5.

My only bad experience was the strong smell of cigarette smoke at the casino, in the first step inside the Hotel. But I still recommend this Hotel for the price, value and amazing location.

A bit late with this review but we stayed over Christmas and New Year for 10 nights. We had stayed here before along with other hotels and this is by far our favourite.

I agree some of the decor is a bit tired but it's a mid priced hotel not a luxury one.

I've never smoked in my life and am very sensitive to the smell of smoke but here it is not a problem at all.

I like the fact the casino is smaller. It feels more homely and safe to me.

Plenty of dining options too. The food court is great if you don't fancy a proper sit down dining experience (not that you can't sit down in the food court :-)) The Pub is amazing for food as well as drinks.

Personally I wouldn't stay anywhere else whilst in Vegas.

To the people below complaining about the decor and the lack of wifi in the rooms and the resort fees - do you not read reviews before you book? If you had then you might have decided that maybe this wasn't the hotel for you and saved yourselves the disappointment.

Roll on our next visit!

This Hotel is in a great location very clean walls are a little thin however. Staff very friendly room cleaned every day. Casino is not smokey even though people are allowed to smoke on the casino floor. Great tram link to the Aria and Bellagio saves your legs over those bridges. Overall excellent stay would return.

I thought that the hotel was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and were helpful with all requests. The only tiny issue we had was that neither of our rooms had coffee in them. There was a great Keurig coffee pot, but no coffee. We called and coffee was brought up immediately. Other than that, I found no problems with the resort. I will return.

Rooms are tired, stained carpet, chipped ugly furnishings, saggy bed, broken taps, lack of hot water, by the way, what is the theme or style of this hotel? It looked like a flea market. Have stayed at other hotels, none this disappointing
