The Monte Carlo provides great view of the strip, great hospitality, and delicious dining experiences at an affordable value. I am happy that I chose to stay at the Monte Carlo on my recent trip to Vegas!

Me and my best friend (both in our early thirties) stayed here for a few days for a girls week and were really happy with the experience. We booked through Vegas.com and it worked out well for us. Not a ton of frills in the room but just enough to be comfortable. Don't miss the fun and kooky nightly 6:15 p.m. Blue Man Group promo parade through the lobby (stand right by the concierge for a great view!). We found the brunch buffet to be a great deal compared to breakfast in the cafe, and make sure to seek out the 2-for-1s at Diablo's Cantina. They handed out coupons handed out on the strip and in the casino - strong fab drinks and we loved the potato skins too. The hotel was quiet, laid back and fun. But do take note of the fact you will be charged a $20/day resort fee - so drink your water bottles every day, read the newspaper, make coffee, etc! Also definitely note that there is no wifi beyond level 2, there is just plug in internet (which doesn't work for Mac users like myself!). Oh! Great beds - we both slept fabulously if not much. :) Overall a great experience!

We love this hotel. We have great memories every time we stay. The staff has always been great to us and this time was no different. The check-in line was long but they had enough staff to make it move fast. The rooms are not the best in Vegas but they are good enough for the price.
Our only real complaint with the room was the leaking tub facet.

A good hotel in a great location to base yourself for the Las Vegas strip. Next to New York New York and opposite the MGM Grand. This is a good quality hotel with 32 floors and on the ground floor is a huge Casino. It has a few shops, again on the ground floor as well as a large pub/bar with a large number of tv's which play sport.
This hotel has great access to the Aria as well as the Bellagio via a tram link.
The rooms were large and well maintained but the bathrooms were a little dated and the shower was not great.
It has a number of restaurants and a food court, which were all conveniently located on the ground floor. We dined in the Steak Restaurant - Brand and the French Restaurant - Andre's and both were outstanding, in terms of the food and choice as well as the service.
A really good value hotel, with a great range of restaurants and fantastically located.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a high floor

My wife and i traveled from Ireland to spend a week here from 13th to 20th March 2014.Location, and the layout, of the hotel is perfect. .There is a food court in the hotel which caters to most tastes.The staff were excellent, and I would recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Had a room on the 22nd floor which had a view of part of the strip.

The Monte Carlo is well situated and the rooms are nice. We were not impressed with the buffet that we were supposed to get free with our rooms (we did not get it free for some reason). I mentioned it to the person at check out and they were very defensive, I did not talk to a manager as I had little time to do so; and I felt that the desk clerk should have been able solve it without any hassle. If you decide to stay at the Monte Carlo and book on line, make sure all of the promised amenities are listed when you get your confirmation.

When my sister and I arrived at the Monte Carlo Resort we were greeted by the valet attendant who offered his services or the self park service. We told him we would like to self park and he was very helpful with giving us specific directions to the parking garage and how to reach the main lobby from the garage. We found parking fairly quickly and the main lobby very easily, the valet attendant explained it perfectly. My sister and I waited in line to check-in for just a few minutes. When it was our turn the front desk agent was very friendly! He greeted and welcomed us to the Monte Carlo. He asked us where we were from and when I told him I went to school in Washington he assumed I was a Husky...(the only bad thing about my stay ;) GO COUGS!!). He offered us two rooms but gave us his preference on the two, explaining that one had a better view. After he checked us in he told us where to find the elevator and wished us a fun and enjoyable stay.
