“Horrible experience”

Worst hotel ever! We waited half an hour to get into our room because they didn't have our names checked in although we had already paid and had confirmation. They tried to make this up to us by offering us a pool view room and what we actually got was a view of a massive ugly concrete roof and a tiny bit of the strip. The room also had hair all over the floor and random pills under the dresser!!! Then they charged our credit card with extra charges we didn't order which was a hassle to deal with when checking out. The list continues, point is DONT STAY HERE! Just awful!

Stayed here for 5 nights in April and had a fab time. Hotel was in a really great location pretty near the middle of strip, the best hotel on a lower budget for location. Hotel has a European feel to it, very clean and lots of shops and places to eat. Big casino area. Great pool although very hard to find a subbed unless you get there early and don't move! Your lucky if you come back after a day sightseeing to grab even 1 sunbed to chill out by the pool for afternoon. Also I know it's Vegas, but the music is fairly loud around the pool area too, and constant so not a relaxing quiet sunbathe!
Rooms were great, we had a pool view room on 19th floor, (after using the sandwich trick to get a higher floor).
Would def come back to this hotel if it was down to budget, totally worth it.

Room Tip: Google Sandwich trick and ask for a higher floor room.

Stayed 3 nights for a conference. Excellent value for a large room (approx 400 sq ft) on the 29th floor. Casinos are clean, Blue Man parade every night at 6:15. Indoor walkway to Aria and mall contain nice selection of shops. Swimming pool is loud with live DJ and a chaise is hard to find after 10. All in all, a nice hotel for excellent value on the southern end of the strip.

We arrived at the hotel to find an hours wait to check in then when we got into our room and checked out the strip view room we paid extra for all we could see of the strip was a giant hotel right in the way blocking the view.
After ringing up guest services to complain about it the staff were rude and really didn't care about our complaint.
Then our next encounter was with the concierge desk. We asked the lady about booking tickets for a pool party she said to book them online (which is pointless having a concierge desk) anyway because the rooms don't have wifi internet we had to sit in the lobby to try and book the tickets on our phones. The internet was so slow and not even worth using so when we went to ask the lady again her response was there's nothing I can do about that. It was only until I got angry and complained that I was paying a resort fee of $20 a day for nothing she got a manager who helped to resolve the issue.

The staff in the hotel are just unhelpful and generally rude. The hotel is so dated in terms of not having wifi in the room it's a lot smaller than all the other hotels and the services are poor. If you want to stay at a hotel within the same price range as this one I would recommend the NYNY hotel next door the MGM or planet Hollywood.

Really wanted to learn to play craps. Took the free class (which was fun and informative). Sean(?) said we could come back and play $5 for the afternoon because he had to leave early. Had lunch came back, and they wouldn't lets play the beginner rate. The dealers (?) wouldn't honor it, we're listless, yawning, and rude and not helpful when I said I took the lesson and just learning. Also called everything in extreme monotone and with such an accent that I couldn't understand them (and I'm from Hawaii where we have all kinds of accents!) will never come here again and will learn to do this in a friendlier place!.

We had a great time over the 4th of July weekend at the Monte Carol Resort & Casino. It was unusually crowed being a holiday,but enjoyed our stay and had no issue.
They have an inexpensive food court including pizza and subway, starbucks and a couple of other restaurants they are open to 11pm. So you don't have to spend a ton just for a bite to eat. the subway stays open 24 hrs. The starbucks closes early than the rest of them.

Room Tip: I have no idea, we got a room facing the strip.

This hotel has the most friendliest staff on the strip for a normal traveler. The security was very good as I was travelling on my own. The pool area is very nicely done and the food was very good. Every staff member smiled and spoke to me my entire visit. I highly recommend this hotel.
