The room was clean, but smelled a little funny. Decent if you are on a budget. Machines were extremely tight, but they have $5 blackjack. Great as far as location!! We usually stay at Planet Hollywood, but decided to stay here after getting a room comp. I don;t rally know what the $20 resort fee was for..we didn't get wifi or anything.

Loved the location on the strip. Rooms were fine- nothing great but clean. Pools are nice, they let you being in bottles water and Starbucks which was nice. Good selection of restaurants. Second time staying here.

Dear RunninHappy,

With incredible restaurants like Dragon Noodle and Double Barrel Roadhouse, and one of the most popular pool facilities along the Las Vegas Strip, Monte Carlo remains a viable travel alternative for guests who don't want to exchange luxury for value. Thanks for sharing your experiences online, and please don't hesitate to return again whenever possible!

Sincerely,

Lori P.

Booked this hotel mainly for its location and price. It's the perfect spot on the strip if you want to have most attractions within a short distance. Room was fine, but the bathroom was dated and could use some work, especially the shower. Nice easy walk from the elevator to the strip through the casino. In some hotels it seems like a maze to get to the street, but the Monte Carlo is pretty straight forward. The food court is a plus. With enough options to satisfy a quick craving. Would recommend for the traveler with budget in mind who is looking for a safe property to get a good nights sleep.

Dear ThirdJackson,

Our convenient location makes city exploration simple, while inexpensive dining options like our food court allow guests to stretch their dollars while still enjoying a top tier resort experience. We're grateful for the positive feedback, and encourage you to keep us in mind when next you visit Las Vegas.

I wouldn't normally have booked this place, but was traveling with a younger group on a budget. I was very plesantly surprised! Last trip to Vegas I stayed at Caesar's and yes, it's more plush, but the Monte Carlo has so much going for it, especially given the huge difference in price. Awesome pool, including lazy river, wave pool, plenty of shade! Comfortable beds and clean rooms (a must for me), a great food court for quick, inexpensive food, courteous and professional service, and a central location. You don't have to spend $200+ a night to get all of the amenities, sleep well, and have an overall great experience in Vegas. I would stay here again.

Dear SuzyQTraveler,

At Monte Carlo, we've earned a reputation for exceeding expectations, and are thrilled to see you were pleasantly surprised by your recent stay. We offer all the amenities you'd come to expect from a major resort destination along the Las Vegas Strip, but at prices far less than the competition. We're glad we could win you over, and look forward to hosting you again!

Stayed here for Labor Day weekend, Wednesday to Sunday. Had a great stay, staff service was impeccable! Just be aware this is a mid level luxury hotel. You WILL be over charged for everything. Booked the spa suite, but there are no longer jets in the Jacuzzis. Just an oversized, 2 person, bathtub. That being said I did receive no charge for resort fees, which is an extra $20 per day. There is also an 11% tax added to your room rate per day. If you want to drink my advise is to go to the stores around the casino to get what you like. An $8 budweiser is a little pricey to me, as is an $85 fifth of Jose Cuervo. Beyond that my stay was excellent. They could use microwaves in the suites though

First time in Vegas and will certainly return to the Monte Carlo next time I go back. Service is second to none. Spacious room and a good nights sleep. Within walking distance of everything. Very friendly staff that go out of their way to make staying there a pleasure.

Well I had a great time while in Vegas I just will not be staying at the Monte Carlo when I return. The hotel lobby sure fooled me I thought I was staying at a 4 star hotel. The staff is really nice, but the rooms are so old and out dated. Only wifi on 1st and 2nd level which sucks and even when on the main floor it didn't work 80 percent of the time. I'll be visiting in December, but will be staying at the MGM I'm so excited!!!
