I absolutely loved the Mirage, the room was awesome with lots of room for three girls to put on make -up and do hair. The bathroom has a mirror that extends out with a 8X mirror on one side which was handy for doing makeup and applying those eyelashes! The bed was comfy the pillows were a little soft for me but we called for firmer pillows and they brought some up.
The Bare Pool was so much fun and the main pool was gorgeous with it's waterfall feature. The restaurants and shops were very handy with lots of mini shopping trips.
I have stayed at a few hotels in Vegas and this is one I would totally recommend for just a few dollars more the the Flamingo(which is okay) it's well worth it!!

It took us three rooms upon arrival to get a clean window to see out ...one had vomit running down it, the other had bird doo running down it...front desk was very unfriendly. We left one afternoon to do the strip and when we got back to the room later that night we found a note in our door that the water had been shut off temporarily so we couldn't shower that night...it took two days to unplug the sink that wouldn't drain...and the five days that we stayed there we slept under the mother of all dust balls hanging over the bed. The only good thing about the mirage is the buffet.

Stayed here for 4 nights with 2 Adults, 2 Children. We had a two bedroom suite which was beautiful. Can't believe how big it was! Check in was smooth and fast. We only ever had one meal at the Casino itself, and that was fine. We're not really gamblers, so didn't really explore that side of things, but we choose this hotel because of the location, and it definitely payed off. Our room overlooked the volcano and all the furnishings were lovely, we never had any noise issues. The kids enjoyed the pool, and I'm sure their father did too (be prepared for lots of eye candy for the boys). We didn't get time to do the Grand Canyon, so when we come back we'll definitely choose to stay here again.

We have had nice hotels in the past, treasure island( a while back) and Caesars 2009, but felt more at home here. Helpful staff, no long check-in queues(it was mid-week). Great pool, with pool service from the bar, plenty of sun loungers and pool towels. Central location. Cravings buffet breakfast was great too. Rooms are lovely, not too happy about the fridge, you cannot store your water etc.it is only a minibar. This is my only gripe.

Stayed at the Mirage for 2 nites, Friday and Saturday, mid September. There was no line at check-in and the girl at the desk was very friendly. The standard strip view room was very nice, large, well appointed. It featured a very comfortable King bed, large flat screen television, desk, chair and sofa. There is also a pressure sensitive mini bar in the room fully stocked with liquors, beer, wine, soda, water, and some snacks. We did not use this as the prices were very high. The bathroom was on the small side and the shower was like showering under a sandblaster. I like pressure but this was a bit much. My wife commented on it our first day and I was skeptical but it is indeed very a powerful shower. It's not a big deal but is something you should be aware of.
The resort itself is very nice. Because it rained our first full day in Vegas, we did not get to use the pool. However, we did check it out and it was a nice area with a few different pools. The casino was good also. Not too much smoke. We ate at BLT Burger and that was good as usual. As with most Vegas resorts there is a good selection of high, medium, and budget restaurants. Yes, food is probably more expensive than at home, but it is expensive everywhere in Vegas.
Overall the Mirage was a great resort for our stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: I don't think you need to do the $20 trick. Just be pleasant to the staff and ask politely for...

We stayed at the Mirage in August 2011 for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are spacious and well appointed although we were disappointed that we couldn't use the fridge as it is a motion detected mini-bar. The casino is a good size - not too big, and there is a wide of choice of restaurants. I'd recommend the steakhouse right opposite the reception area, which is pricey but worth it. The rest of the food options are overpriced but you come to expect that in Vegas. The bars have offers such as happy hours and ladies' nights so check out when these are. The pool area is big and well designed but gets very busy. The hotel is within easy walking distance of Caesar's Palace, the Venetian and the Bellagio but can get a bit hot if you visit in summer like we did. The only criticism I had was that the valet and bellboy service was slower than I've experienced in other 5 star hotels but this was a minor inconvenience.

Overall, this is a good value hotel in a great location.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the strip and you will be able to watch the nightly volcano show from you...

We were over the moon when we arrived at The Mirage, we requested a room that had a view of the strip and we weren't disappointed! The room itself was very modern, clean and spacious. The location is ideal for exploring the strip. We had no problems whilst staying at The Mirage and we enjoyed every minute of it. We didn't use the pool area as we spent the whole trip out exploring, but from what we could see it looked lovely. I would, with out a doubt stay here again and recommend it to anyone!
