This hotel is where it all begin. The stay was comfortable. There is more to do in this hotel than any other we've stayed in. There's a car museum, movie theater, bowling alley, river tour, etc. This hotel
is rich in history. I will stay there again and again. The odds are great and the staff is friendly. Customer service at its best.

Over forty years ago a young man named Don Laughlin started the whole Laughlin phenomenon. Today there are many hotel-casinos on the river there, but the Riverside remains as totally home owned. While there may be many advantages to the mega chains, there is also a lot to be said for the personal relationship between owner and property.
Many dealers have been there for years, and without exception, they say the Riverside is a great place to work. Mr. Laughlin takes a personal interest in his employees and treats them very well. This is reflected in the positive and friendly attitude of the staff. I appreciate that. There are far too many stories of corporate giants that run rough shod over the people who are the foundation of any success.
Kudos to Mr. Laughlin.

Don Laughlins Riverside Resort "Great Time"
We flew direct on Sun Country and were met by a bus and hotel rep. We were shuttled to the hotel (they took care of all luggage) We had to wait a couple hours to check in but who cares it took us that long to look around the casino. Fast check in everything was in order for us. The rooms were clean and pretty roomy. The staff from housekeeping to the bartenders were fantastic. There were a lot of kids running around and I personally don't think it's a good place for them but the staff kept them from stopping around the machines and tables. The airport is under construction so be prepared to wait on the return flight if you are going before Jan. Use your players club card lots of perks.

This is the second time that my family with small children have stayed in this hotel and it is an average stay. The rooms are average, a little worn but not bad. The one thing that I really don't like is that they charge $9.99 per day for wireless internet access in your room. We have chosen to stay here for location, the place that we rent jet ski's is nearby and there are places just across the river where you play on the river for the day without charge. Had problems with the towels in the room, we had reservations for 4 people but everyday they would only leave 3 towels and I would call and ask for more, one day they brought them to us and the next they never made it. But we would stay there again.

I am a local resident of the area and enjoy most of the ammenities of the Riverside Resort. However, On attending
the Riverside Cinema on June 12, 2007, I had the unfortunate
incident of having my wallet taken from my purse and all of the
cash removed from it.

I reported the theft to management and they were quick to point
to the sign that says that they are not responsible for the damage
or loss of personal property. They did call security and took a report but management was less than sympathetic to my plight.

So fellow movie goers I you attend the cinema be sure
to keep a close eye on your purse.

I stayed there late February and also again in Mid April.
Both times i enjoyed the resort and all it has to offer.
8 restaurants of which we went to the Gourmet Room the
last night. Wonderful food, service and ambience. Yes, i sampled
all but the mexican restaurant in which i will try next time i am there. I also enjoyed a jet boat tour on the river. If anyone does not get the room that they requested, the hotel is more than happy to accomodate you to another room. You need to go down to the front desk and speak with them directly.Rooms can be looking over the Colorado River, no balcony or upgrade and get a full balcony overlooking the river. Many a time, you don't spend much time in the room anyway. Many things to see and do while in Laughlin! Get a chance to get out and explore! While there i saw Glen Campbell the first time and "A Tribute to The Righteous Brothers" the second time! Wonderful seating!
Everyone was very friendly and we enjoyed the tables in the non smoking area. Wonderful pit bosses and friendly dealers!
It was nice having a smoking and non smoking area. If you get a chance to get there, take a look at the 2 antique museums that are there. The pools don't really start to warm up until early summer. In April they were around 65 degrees. There are 2 pool there. One on the ground floor with a hot tub and the other is on the 3rd floor in the North Tower and out on a rooftop overlooking the colorado river. I'll be back there again thanks to their wonderful service.
