The hotel was great and we had an amazing river view. The staff made you feel welcome, it was quiet, inexpensive and clean. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Two years ago we stayed at this hotel, since we had a great stay then we decided we didn't want to stay at another.
Valet guys were on their game, it was around 3pm so there was a whole bunch of people standing in what seems to be lines of some sort at the Front Desk checking in. You just try and find the shortest line, which we found it was the furthermost from the front entry.
Tabitha was great, she checked us in fast, done in 15 mins, got our bags and in the room enjoying the view of the river and mountains.
Rooms were clean, bathroom has space, bed was okay but those pillows need to go...If you want to go to Outback make sure you go early or the wait can be 20min to an hour.
Starbucks came in handy in the morning when we just wanted something to munch on for our trip to the Grand Canyon Skywalk.
It was Prime Rib and Crab night at the Windows restaurant, they had two stations for the crab but only one station for the Prime Rib, so of course that line was longggggggggggg but it was also blocking others from getting other items. So go early I guess!! Beer and Margaritas included...Grab one or two while you wait in line for the Prime Rib...or skip the Prime Rib cause there's no line for the drinks!

Their ad states "affordable luxury"....there is nothing luxurious about this place. The rooms are okay. Check-in was slow, but very nice staff. The buffet is very good, includes drinks... I strongly recommend not eating at the Cafe Aquarius...we had the bed and breakfast special....so my wife and I had our breakfasts there...three times. The food is horrible...the service is horrible....however....Mindy the server was the only good thing about this place...if you must eat there..sit in her area. I'm not sure if I will ever stay at this hotel again.

The rooms here are bigger than most. The windows are floor to ceiling. The furniture is modern. The California tower is Adults only. It was so quiet in there.

Visited here as was on the way back to Los Angeles from Phoenix and had never been, always visiting Vegas instead. While not a glam as Vegas, Laughlin isn't bad considering the price difference between the two places.

Stayed in California Tower on, I believe, the 10th floor. Had a room on the front corner so the view was largely street and hotel amenities but could also see the Colorado River behind the hotel. Dining choices are meh and if you walk on the path connecting the hotels on the river side beware of bugs. The rooms were clean and comfortable but the shower is a little dark as the lights are in the main sink/toilet area and the shower curtain goes all the way up no allowing for a great deal of light to make it through. It was clean though.

Beware that the casino does smell like a smokers lounge, unpleasantly so. We ended up taking take-out and eating up in the room. There isn't any free wi-fi provided by the hotel however, there is a Starbucks tucked away on the ground floor. Far enough from the main casino that the smell of smoke is escapable.

The outlet/mall across the street is useless and boring. Don't bother with it.

Room Tip: If you can swing a river side room unless you want a view of the parking lot or don't care about...

We went with a large group of friends (120) and the accommodations and prices were great. All rooms have recently been upgraded, and most rooms have views of the Colorado river. Our food for each event was amazingly good, and the staff was very attentive & helpful.

Room Tip: The standard rooms are larger than most.

Considering that most of the reviews of hotels in Laughlin area have not been very positive I was pleasantly surprised by the accommodations at the Aquarius. The room I was in, 17 floor #107 in the family tower, must have been recently updated as it was very acceptable. Having just stayed at the Nugget (#1 rated) in Laughlin the week before this was a definite upgrade. Front desk was very customer friendly and we were processed very quickly. Room was clean and a nice size, plus had a river view without having to pay extra. The buffet was acceptable and there is a 25% discount with a player club card. There is also an Outback Steakhouse on site. The only negative is that they don't have a parking area to unload your luggage unless you use the Valet but parking garage is OK if you can get a spot close to the elevator. Will stay there again the next time we are in Laughlin.
