We were on our way back to California after a week stay in Arizona seeing all the monuments and GC, etc., as it has been 19 years since we stayed in Laughlin. For one night, it was OK. We got a decent room in the AZ Tower, filled with kids and families, but at the very top floor, with a view of the swimming pool. The room was comfortable and beds were fine. We didn't really peruse the casino for games, and we decided to eat outside instead of trying Outback or the hotel buffet (don't think it scored that greatly).

However, Laughlin isn't Vegas, and if you didn't come for the river, it's not much more to do than the casinos. Honestly, I see why many people don't bother to go to Laughlin, as it is seems it attracts a slightly different socio-economic clientele than Vegas.

However, I enjoyed being close to Bullhead City as the tax was cheaper, and with many gas stations selling real cheap gas was a bonus to us topping off before heading back to expensive California.

But for one night, coming back from Arizona, this place did its job for a decent price (thanks Hotwire).

I really enjoyed my stay here, was easy to find, quick to check in and easy to find our room. We had a good evening downstairs in the casino, had a lovely meal in outback. Once upstairs in was nice, clean and comfy. Before leaving Laughlin we went on a river cruise down Colorado river which is a must do and was very interesting to learn about the history of the town

The hotel tries it's best - the room was clean, but very basic - bed was comfortable. We had been here twelve years ago and had enjoyed the peace and quiet, this time, we were supposed to spend 4 days here after our wedding in Las Vegas - lasted two, checked out..the clientele at this hotel (during our stay) can only be best described as "caveman" - pool was noisy and unsupervised, rowdy people brought coolers and boom boxes to the pool - excessive drinking - no regard or consideration for other people - just plain obnoxious behaviour - will never return to Laughlin again...

Terrific service from check into checkout. Front desk attendants very nice and helpful. Left my binoculars at a slot machine and they were turned into security within 15 mins. We've stayed there and many other resorts at Laughlin, and we will continue to stay at the Aquarius.

Room Tip: All the rooms have a view of the river.
