“Pet Friendly”

Good location, had rooms without reservations and are PET friendly. Great size room, very clean and fresh. Nice king size bed and great selection of TV channels. There is a deposit for having a pet.TY

One of the original Hotels in Laughlin, it is old, but has charm. You can't beat the rates and they have rooms where you can stay with your pets. For that reason I give it a very good. Right on the river, it is a great place to stay and tour the area. Rooms were clean, water was hot and the facility was comfortable. Central location makes it great for walks along the Riverfront walkways. You can walk to most of the other facilities along the river. If you are a 5 star person go somewhere else, but if you have a little or lot of Red Neck in you, this place is fine. For those of you on a budget, have pets or just want a little old school, I think this place deserves a look. It will be my hangout when I visit Laughlin.

Room Tip: If you want a pet room, call in advance and reserve your room. They have a limited amount of rooms...

We had been gambling in the casino for years but this is the first time we actually stayed at the Pioneer. We were pleasantly surprised at the furnishings and comfort of the bed. The hotel has a 50's charm. They do not currently have Wi-Fi but we had a box that turns phone signals into Wi-Fi so we survived. Backing our truck right up to the door was very convenient for unloading, getting to the ice chest and reloading. It was extremely hot, they have very few ice machines and we had to hit a couple before we found one with a little bit of ice. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and we will definately stay there again.

Room Tip: Obviously the rooms overlooking the river are at a premium. In the Summer the rooms facing North wil...

The room was older and had minimal amenities, no refrigerator, old small tv, no ice. I got to the room and there was no water coming out off the facet sink. I called the desk and that got the hotel engineering, he had it fixed in a few minutes. Not sure it I would stay again. Price was cheap though

I would recommend this hotel and casino. It is an older hotel but the staff was the best. We did not stay in one of their rooms but the people we talked to in the casino seemed to be pleased. They are pet friendly.

Room Tip: We did not stay at this hotel so I can not tell you about the rooms.

Pioneer Hotel and Casino reminds you of the old West. Vintage decor. We always have fun here and the grounds are really unique, very well groomed and designed. The river walk passes adjacent to the Casino the full length of the resort so you have wonderful views of the river and the activities. We found the slots kinda tight and spent more, won less, but that's the way it goes. The staff is pleasant, courteous, and attentive.

Room Tip: One of the best eateries in Laughlin.

We stopped in to get a room mid week, rate was 29.00 a night, after talking to desk clerk, who was great we took a king suite on the river for 55.00 a night. Room was very large old décor inside the room. The view was great off the balcony over looking the river. The room had water damage to ceiling, water stains on the curtains which also had holes in them. Cobwebs in he corners, dirty floor musty smell in the room. Tub in had some repairs to it, not very well done looked like quick patch job. The great thing was how quite it was on the back side, some river traffic noise but not bad.
