Here is another restaurant that treats single diners like second class citizens. I asked for a table for one. They would not seat me at a regular table or booth inside the restauant, saying they were booked up, and offered me one of those tall tables in the bar. This is not too comfortable for what I thought would be a nice dinner. As I sat there for about an hour and a half, there were empty tables with "reserved" signs that were never filled the entire time I was there. There is no excuse for this.
They have a table side preparation/presentation of the house salad, if there are two or more of you. If you are there by yourself, you do not get this service. Again no excuse for this type of discrimination of the single diner. By the way, for this kind of price, you could do alot better with your salad, this came out of a bag, and had two lonely little grape tomatoes, and a bite of artichoke heart. They should be ashamed to say this is their "house" salad.
I had the most expensive thing on their menu, the steak and lobster at 39 dollars. So they really did not need to treat me the way they did. They advertise a 6 ounce filet and and 8 ounce lobster tail. The steak in actuality was more like 4 ounces and the lobster more like 5 ounces. Both were over cooked. The twice baked potato was good.
Please go around the corner to Katie's and learn how to treat ALL your guests, figure out what weighs how much, and do something about your salad !!!
