Our family enjoyed this hotel very much. Location was great, away from the strip. The hotel was very upscale, and it had restaurants and a movie theater attached to it, as well as a casino if you are into that. The pool area was beautiful. Overall, very impressed!

We needed a place to stay that was near to both our son and daughter-in-law's home and Summerlin Hospital, as we were visiting our new twin grandsons who were still in the preemie NICU. We also wanted to feel like we were on a bit of a vacation, and the Aliante Hotel and Casino worked well for us. Our room was modern and well decorated; we chose the "shower" option over the "bathtub" one, and were not disappointed. Our 9th floor room had an eastern view; an upgrade to western was an additional $10 a night and a Strip view another $20 a night, and as we don't spend a lot of time in the room, or looking out the window, that is not a big deal for us. The pool area is beautiful, though it would have been nice to be able to bring our own Diet Coke in. I did not notice the Casino being smoky at all, which I usually do, especially in Strip Casinos. Also, being there on weeknights, there were not a lot of people, which was nice.

Nearby: Tried the "Roadkill Grill" as seen on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives (good!) and Floyd Lamb Park, good spot to take our son's dog. The Pizza Lounge on S. Rampart Blvd had good pizza and salads (bottles of wine half price on Tuesdays)

Room Tip: I asked for a western view after reading another traveler's review, but then didn't want to pay the extra cost - so the desk clerk said he'd give us the best possible room, which turned out to be top floor (9th) and was quiet. Also, if you don't love your bed pillow, try the one in the dresser drawer.

We just got back from a family reunion and this was where lots of us stayed, we had 7 rooms in total. 2 were ours. Pleasant surprise, very nice resort, attentive staff. Complimentary Valet parking or self park. Coffee/ tea/ hot chocolate and newspaper free near lobby every morning. We had a refrigerator in our room which came in handy. Ipod docking for your music and nicely decorated rooms. Only thing I see as a potential big issue is the shower/tub is so deep it could be hard to step in as probably over 2ft of climbing over to get in.
Would stay again, strip not needed, great time

If you are wanting to be close to the strip, then this is not the place for you. It is out in the middle of nowhere. Newer clean rooms, comfortable beds, large screen tvs, free basic internet, good water pressure in the shower, easy check-in and check-out. Pool area was really nice. Each guest can get 2 large soft towels to use. Cushioned pool chairs. Very relaxing. Room was quiet. Just south on Aliente Parkway is a shopping area with some fast food restaurants. Next to the Subway is an ice-cream place that had the best ice-cream. Totally recommend you visit it if you stay at Aliante.

Just came back from a three night stay at the Aliante in North Las Vegas. This hotel and its entire property is just so much nice and much more civilized than the crowded Strip area and downtown area. No waiting 45 minutes online to have a meal. Just walk in and be seated. The entire property is absolutely lovely, and the room was comfortable. Very clean accommodations. Nice casino, with all sorts of restaurants surrounding it, and a movie theater as well. Only left the property to go to the Mob Museum and the Neon Boneyard, both I would highly recommend seeing. The pool area at the Aliante is beautiful as well. Was nice to not have a hassle to find parking as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and hope to go back sometime in the future.
