“LOVE me some Aliante!!!!”
Reviewed 20 June 2014

Our kids live in Vegas, so we travel here several times per year to visit them and grandson. They live in the Aliante area, so we often frequent this casino/buffett so close to home.....a FAV among those that are looking for a clean, wonderful area to stay away from the craziness of the strip, AND locals who enjoy gambling in a very nice casino. We almost ALWAYS come away winners for the small stake gambling we do (have hit two progressives for a total of $2,200 in 3 days time!) and enjoy the fact it is easy to find a nice, non-smokey area to enjoy the day sitting at a slot. LOVE the place, would now come here even if the kids no longer lived in Vegas. Have a coworker planning a trip with kids on the way to Cali to visit relatives, they are staying here knowing if I recommend it, it HAS to be great!!!!

We went here on our most recent trip. The kids really loved it so did we. The rooms were big and nice so were the beds. We didn't pay to much. All the kids wanted to do was swim so we were at the pool a lot. It was big and shallow so the kids could walk all the way through. The best part was there was almost no one there. It was on a week night but it was still great to have most of the pool and restaurant to our selfs without having to fight the normal crowd. I would recomend this to anyone who doesn't want a big crowd and doesn't mind staying off the strip.

Room Tip: The rooms on the east have a bad view of a parking garage. I wouldn't recomend them if you want...

Aliante casinos Champagne Brunch is very good and one of the best values in Las Vegas area. I believe they have Brunch on both Saturday and Sunday and the Price is only$10.99 with your players card. the Brunch serves Wyrick champagne much better than that junk J.Roget champagne that station serves, yuck. That's better than Bellagio. The is good not elaborate but the locks were excellent, omelette station was very good plus the deserts were good where my wife could get her favorite donuts. All the basic brunch food is very good as much as you could ask for. No crab legs but get them on Friday. What a value I highly recommend their Champagne
Brunch..

Room Tip: This review is not on their hotel which is also excellent but on their Sat. and Sun. Champagne Brunc...

From check in to check out superb. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious.
The only thing I didn't like was the pool hours. It being summer they should keep the pool open much later, it closed at 7pm. The spa however was open 24 hrs. Also too many locals with day passes. Other than that a very good stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a deluxe view room, you won't be disappointed.

The Aliante is a nice, clean, quiet casino about twenty minutes from the Strip. Checking in we asked for a pool view since we'd read the other view was of the roof. The lady explained that there was a 20 upcharge for the pool but she'd comp it for us. When we got to the room we saw some of the pool and miles of subdivision houses. So don't pay for the pool view. It's not that impressive.

The room was cool and airy with comfortable bedding and good, firm mattresses. Nothing remarkable but it was Memorial Day weekend and it was a relatively good rate. The resort fee is a downer though and makes the rate less impressive.

The valet, baggage attendant and check in staff were all courteous and polite. There aren't many late night food options in this part of town but a few of the fast food options in the hotel are open late.

The overnight restaurant left a lot to be desired. The service was good but the food was either undercooked or overcooked each time we ate there (middle of the night). It was obvious not much love goes in to the food at night.

The casino staff are pleasant and patient. On slower evenings they'll teach you how to play the different table games. Cocktails services was decent.

All in all, this is a decent, upscale Las Vegas option if you have a rental car.

I found this gem of a property almost by accident. My daughter moved to North Las Vegas and, not wanting to impose on her with my regular visits, I sought a nice hotel nearby. After a couple of hits and misses, I settled on this one.
It's a first class facility with comfortable, clean rooms, an excellent staff, and pricing 'to die for.' It also is, as with many of the higher end Las Vegas hotels, almost completely self-contained. This means that you can enjoy a live jazz concert, catch the latest movies, dine from burgers to steak, and, of course, gamble without leaving the building. Recently, they unveiled a comprehensive spa package, but I have not experienced it yet.

Room Tip: Calling two weeks in advance seems to assure the room of choice, though great rooms are sometimes av...

Our plan was to stay off the strip. But not this far off the strip! One advertisement for the hotel stated it was "9 miles from the strip" - meaning, as the crow flies.

Imagine our surprise when we were stuck with a 90 dollar cab fare for the 21 miles to get to the hotel. We had intended to use taxis to get everywhere we needed to, but had no idea how far this place was. When we brought up the ad to the manager, she was unapologetic, saying that it did describe the hotel and it wasn't misleading. Very frustrating! We wound up renting a car; at that time, we were informed by the rental agency that we were the 5th people that week who had been misled by ads and were forced to rent a car. Luckily, Vegas is pretty easy to get around in, so long as you have a navigation device.

The room itself was, on the exterior, nice. But further exploration yielded some interesting quirks; multiple items that weren't plugged in (phones, clock radios, lamps), missing light bulbs, weirdly placed light switches... Our room in particular had a lovely view of... The roof. Included in that view at night were the massive spotlights set on the roof, shining directly into our room. The curtains helped cut some of that light out, but not all... also very frustrating.

The pool area was very nice. We ate at the buffet one morning and one morning at the farm-to-table restaurant, both of which weren't half-bad. The casino was... A casino. Although, we did have a great time playing Roulette with one of the dealers, Richard. He was tons of fun!

All in all, if you want to stay somewhere and not go to the strip (but not really go anywhere else either), this is the place for you. It's very kid friendly (A bit more difficult for me as someone who doesn't much care for children) so bring the family. But, if you want caring service, rooms without holes in the sheets and easy access to the strip, this isn't where you want to stay. Suck it up and stay on the strip in an upper-level room; I don't think we will be returning to Aliante.

Room Tip: Ask for a room without a view of the roof....
