“Ever been to a teeny casino in Northern Wisconsin?”

That's what this place is like. One of the teeny old smokey dives in the middle of nowhere on a Native Rez casino in the Upper Midwest. Has 3 table games max, bar with video poker (of course), old men in trucker hats that look like they spend their entire day/night here (along with their pension/SSI money). Being that I grew up in that kind of casino atmosphere it makes me sort of feel nostalgic. For about one minute. It is entertaining for a short while then it seems rather sad. Some of these guys could be my dad.

“casino is worst in Reno”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 October 2009

The good part of the casino at the Ramada is that is has $2.00 blackjack. Otherwise, it is the worst. The majority of the clientele is from the lower economic tier. This is NOT the place to bring a wife or girlfriend.
Police constantly drive through the parking lot, looking for loitering street walkers or possibly drug dealers. This is the closest casino to many $20-a-night welfare motels.
Staff at the hotel itself are helpful and friendly. Rooms are average.
MOST casino hotels in reno now have wireless internet. They balked at this for a few years, wanting you to be in the casino gambling instead of working on your computer, but nearly all have now given in and provide it.
