We stopped in Reno because it was halfway to Bend, Oregon on our family road trip from San Diego. My husband had heard about this hotel through coworkers and we decided to check it out.
The hotel was beautiful and clean with industrial touches and light bulb installations on some of the walls. The lobby was unique and had eclectic, trendy, mismatched furniture that I loved. It was comfortable and open. The staff at the front desk was friendly and efficient.
The room was clean, bright and I loved the tall wood headboards and large landscape wallpaper on one of the accent walls. Comfortable beds and bathrobes.
The huge perk was the climbing and work out room. They had walls for all different levels and the staff was engaging and eager to insure we had everything we needed. They were great with kids which helped when they were explaining the rules and safety instructions. I was able to run on the treadmill and view the climbing area at the same time, which always beats staring at a blank wall like at many hotels. They offered yoga classes as well in one of the large rooms next to the rock climbing area.
This hotel is a perfect place to stop for the night with your family as long as you don’t leave the hotel. The streets of Reno are not kid friendly. Which I probably should have known. More
