stay here for one night during the long weekend for $130, the two beds in the room is double and not queen's bed. I am fully aware of this but still for the price, they should upgrade the rooms.

Services was good, checked in at 6:30 PM but was told the room was not ready and the front desk tried their best to get the room cleaned and ready since we have to attend a concert at 8PM. Got the room at 7:30PM and we received $30 in spending coupon for food and drinks due to the 1 hour wait.

Overall satisfied, centrally located to the Reno event center and other major casinos.

Stayed at Reno's Harrah twice while on a road trip through NV. The first time was in the East tower, which has been renovated more recently. Our room was attractive, quiet and comfortable - all the things we were looking for. The second stay was in the West tower which was dramatically different - old, worn and noisy. On both stays, the staff were friendly and accommodating. We ate in the buffet restaurant as a good coupon was offered for dinner for 2. The food was decent and fresh - similar to a cruise style with different ethnic options available. Valet parking was offered free which was a bonus as well. The hotel was in the center of the Reno "scene" but was easy to get to from the freeway.

Room Tip: request a room in the East tower if you want a quieter and more pleasant experience

My boyfriend and I love to gamble, so imagine our surprise when we got to Harrahs and they did not even have a basic blackjack table open! We were there around 9pm on a Thursday night, so it was not an obscure hour! Anyway we found a table to play, even though it wasn't what we wanted. Our dealers were fun and our cocktail servers were extremely attentive, so the service saves the property.

Went to Reno to attend the University of Nevada Football game. A big fan of the Nevada Wolf Pack, I have stayed in just about every hotel in Reno. For big weekends most of the Hotels double or even triple their rates. Harrah's is no exception, with one significant difference - they don't have a minimum two-night stay. The front desk is efficient. They have the best "free" valet parking. Harrah's Steak House is "classic." We have always asked for and received a non-smoking room. The room's are fairly standard American shoe boxes, unless you opt "up" to the more opulent accommodations. The household staff has always been pleasant, and we have never received or had cause to complain. It is showing its age, but style and appearance have never been the its strong suit. It lights up quite well at night. Their Total Rewards" program is the best.

Hotel is really old. The internet is around 5k/sec, probably the WORST internet i have ever experienced. There is NO room-service during week days. NONE WHAT SO EVER. The gym closes already at 7 pm, which is ridiculous. I had an eggs-Benedict for breakfast that basically 1 gigantic lump of sauce, dressing, bread and beacon, it was repulsive! It was the last room available in town and I had no choice. Next time I'll book ahead.

Room Tip: Go elsewhere!
