We stayed at the Bartlett Inn for 4 nights in May and had a great time. Nick and Miriam are great hosts, they have a huge amount of knowledge about the area and seemed to enjoy getting to know their guests. Our cottage was cosy and comfortable - the bathroom was a bit on the small side but it wasn't a huge concern. The Inn is perfectly situated for touring around the White Mountains and there are some lovely places nearby for dinner in the evening. I also have to mention Miriam's breakfasts - the best pancakes I had during our entire stay in the US!!

Found the Barlett Inn by chance and am really glad we did. This was the best B&B experience I've had ever. Rooms in both the main house and in the cabins are nicely furnished, cozy and comforting. The atmosphere overall is very inviting, and the owners--Miriam and Nick--make you feel like an old friends the minute you walk in the door. We immediately felt comfortable and at home.

The included breakfast is fabulous, with several choices cooked to order. You even get fruit and juice! And oh, if quiche is on the menu, order it! Delicious. I had a taste of the spinach and feta -- pure heaven.

With the hot tub and beautiful grounds, our vist to the Bartlett Inn was relaxing, yet stimulating. Great location for both summer and winter activities. Will definitely visit again, hopefully this winter!

We went to the White Mtns. for a camping trip...we ended up staying in the Bartlett Inn because of terrible weather. We had a nice time and got to spend time with Nick and his family. The room we stayed in was the Carrigain Room. It had a kitchen and plenty of room for our kids to sleep. Our trip could have had a terrible ending because of weather, but we were able to book a room for our family and our dog. The amenities were not the only draw to this B & B. It was the wonderful personalities of the owners. Very personable. Will definitely go again, maybe even for the Polar Express Package. Thank you to the Bartlett Inn for a wonderful ending to what could have been a terrible vacation.

Our first visit to the Bartlett Inn in October 2007 was based on the fantastic reviews on Trip Advisor and our stay exceeded our expectations.

Nick and Miriam are wonderful innkeepers - so friendly and helpful - and the Bartlett Inn is a great base for exploring the White Mountains.

We stayed in Inn Room 5 which was extremely clean and comfortable (loved the shower!)

Fantastic breakfasts to set you up for the day including choice of hot dishes - eggs any style with bacon, sausage, vegi sausage or one of the daily specials such as pancakes, Greek omelette,... The fruit course was also much appreciated.

We loved sitting on the porch, chatting to the other guests and enjoying the hot apple cider and cookies provided in the afternoon.

We enjoyed our stay at the Bartlett Inn so much that we decided to get married there in May 2008!

We wanted a small family wedding to bring our families together from the USA, Canada and the UK and it was the perfect location for us. Nick and Miriam put us in touch with everyone we needed to contact - photographer, florist, JP,... As well as the photos taken in the grounds of the Inn, they also showed us the most fantastic locations for photos a few minutes down the road.

We had such a wonderful, relaxed, happy day and cannot thank Nick and Miriam enough for their help and kindness. We were made to feel like family!

We can't wait to return...

We discovered Storyland last year (2007) which our then three- and two-year-old boys loved. We decided to make it an annual summer trip. This year we discovered the Bartlett Inn. We were looking for someplace off the beaten track, close to Storyland, which included breakfast and the Barlett Inn seemed to fit the bill.

It was a wonderful trip. Nick and Miriam are perfect hosts. Nick gave us several great suggestions on places to eat and things to do. Miriam makes delicious chocolate-chip pancakes, the boys' favorite. And, their four-year-old daughter proved a great playmate as well.

We stayed in one of the cottages and it was perfect for us. Yes, the bathroom was small, but we didn't need it to be any bigger. The beds were comfortable -- wonderful, thick, comfy duvets!

We look forward to returning to Bartlett Inn for our yearly White Mountains summer trip!

My husband and I were looking for a place to stay that was near Mt. Washington, but away from the craziness of North Conway and Bartlett appeared to fit the bill. There are a number of places to stay in the Bartlett area and I am very glad we chose the Bartlett Inn. Nick and Miriam were wonderful hosts and we had a great time talking to them and to our fellow guests at breakfast. Miriam is a wonderful cook and she served one of the best omelets I've ever had.

We stayed in one of the cottages and the room was very nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. It was not a true housekeeping cottage, just one of 3 rooms in a building separate from the main building. The only drawbacks were the fact that the storm door was all glass (no screen) so we couldn't leave the door open to get a breeze and that the bathroom was tiny - definitely only one person in it at a time. The room did have a window a/c unit which was very welcome since it was quite hot and humid while we were there.

We will definitely stay at the Bartlett Inn again, although for a long ski vacation we may have to economize and stay at a cheaper alternative - we will miss the breakfast and the conversation!

We stayed a mere 3 nights, but wanted to stay longer.
It was a long weekend get-away, just to relax.
We stayed in one of the cottages---a small room with a private bath and a great little gaslog stove for heat..
Loved the breakfasts, and the conversations with Nick & Miriam were the icing on the cake. They are knowledgeable about the area and beyond, very helpful.
I could go on and on, but it's best to leave a bit for the traveler to experience....
