The covered bridge is beautiful as is the entire village. Be sure and step into the church for a step back at 100 years. Nice.

The bridge was under renovation when we visited and were sad to not be able to go across. Its near the Bath General Brick Store, which claims to be the oldest general store in the US. Sells fantastic smoked cheeses and summer sausage. A def. stop well worth it and hope to go back another year to be able to see the covered bridge

One of the biggest covered bridges in NH; don't miss the "At the Hop" Ice Cream parlor and The General Store, both 2 minutes away on the village green.

We drove west to the town of Bath stopping on the way to look at 2 covered bridges before going on to see the town's 374’ 6” long covered bridge from 1832, which had a sign stating that there was a $1 fine for driving any team faster than a walking pace. The bridge was really interesting and photogenic, the inside windows overlooking the river with fall colors lining the banks.
