We went to the Adair Inn with a restaurant.com coupon. The meal was delicious, beautifully served. The meal was $33/pp, but included either appetizer, salad, and entree. The ambiance is a little dated - old fashioned wall paper - but really pleasant.
Highly recommend this!

My wife and I walked into the Adair unannounced, no reservation, hoping to have dinner after plans fell through for our 15th wedding anniversary dinner.
Let me elaborate.
We had reservations at another area restaurant (I won't name names), but were so dissatisfied with the experience there that we opted to pay for our cocktails and leave in hopes of finding a special meal elsewhere.
I had read about the Adair online but had little knowledge about the property, apart from the fact that they have a well-respected restaurant in the area.
We arrived at the B&B, with it's well-manicured grounds and sheepishly entered, not being fans of the "drop-in".
It was approaching 7:00 pm and we feared that we may be out of luck at this point.
Much to our surprise, a lovely young lady greeted us and offered to ask the chef if he would be kind enough to accommodate a walk-in couple. The chef graciously acquiesced and we were seated in a cozy study at a small, candle-lit table. A perfect, romantic spot for our special occasion!
Between the young lady who greeted us, our charming server Rachael, and the considerable skills of Chef Orlo Coots, the evening was magical. Exactly what we had hoped for.
We live close by and therefore have never stayed here, but if our dinner experience is any indication of the way this property is run, the accommodations must be first rate.
I cannot say enough about the Adair and I encourage others to explore this gem.
Thank you to all of the staff for making our evening truly special!
We will definitely be back.

Outstanding! Amen! Our experience was delightful from beginning to end. We enjoyed dinner on Saturday evening. After a long , warm day on the trail, we enjoyed an elegant, and creatively inspired meal. Served in the Library of an elegant and creatively inspired space. We were enchanted. This is a gem. Fine dining in the Great North Woods ,no jacket required.

We discovered the Adair Country Inn through Restaurant.com,
we approached with a little trepidation because there was only one car in the parking lot on the Mon. evening, but were immediately suaged by the warm greeting from the Innkeeper, The service and dinner were exquisite, and my husband declared that his filet was the best he had had in a very long time. My lamb was fresh and delicious.
As we ate, the restaurant slowly filled up, with all tables receiving careful attention from the two servers.
After dinner, the congenial Innkeeper gave us a tour of the Inn. Unfortunately, we could not go outside because it was raining, but there were beautiful gardens and trees with deer, moose, and other wildlife.
This Inn is a treat not to be missed, and if in the area again, we would certainly go back.
