“Excellent dinner”
Reviewed 25 May 2014 via mobile

I bought a restaurant.com gc over a year ago when there was a fixed price choice menu, 2 3 or 4 courses. Finally got there tonight...they have changed the menu from the fixed price options. The meal was excellent and the inn keeper and wait staff very friendly and accommodating. They offer a wine taste before selecting, which is a nice option if you are unfamiliar with wines on the wine list. The waiter offered suggestions on the menu selections and everything suggested was excellent. This is a very small dining room and a very personal dining experience and worth a visit if you are in the White Mountains.

“Delicious meal, fabulous atmosphere.”
Reviewed 25 October 2013

We stayed at the Adair Inn and had dinner in the restaurant on our last night. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully served. We ordered the three-course meal and each of the four of us took some liberties with the courses. I ordered two appetizers and dessert and each course was delicious. Our waitress was knowledgeable and personable. The setting is beautiful. Highly recommend this restaurant.

“Delicious!”
Reviewed 4 September 2013

We went to the Adair Inn with a restaurant.com coupon. The meal was delicious, beautifully served. The meal was $33/pp, but included either appetizer, salad, and entree. The ambiance is a little dated - old fashioned wall paper - but really pleasant.
Highly recommend this!

“Absolutely outstanding!”
Reviewed 26 July 2013

My wife and I walked into the Adair unannounced, no reservation, hoping to have dinner after plans fell through for our 15th wedding anniversary dinner.
Let me elaborate.
We had reservations at another area restaurant (I won't name names), but were so dissatisfied with the experience there that we opted to pay for our cocktails and leave in hopes of finding a special meal elsewhere.
I had read about the Adair online but had little knowledge about the property, apart from the fact that they have a well-respected restaurant in the area.
We arrived at the B&B, with it's well-manicured grounds and sheepishly entered, not being fans of the "drop-in".
It was approaching 7:00 pm and we feared that we may be out of luck at this point.
Much to our surprise, a lovely young lady greeted us and offered to ask the chef if he would be kind enough to accommodate a walk-in couple. The chef graciously acquiesced and we were seated in a cozy study at a small, candle-lit table. A perfect, romantic spot for our special occasion!
Between the young lady who greeted us, our charming server Rachael, and the considerable skills of Chef Orlo Coots, the evening was magical. Exactly what we had hoped for.
We live close by and therefore have never stayed here, but if our dinner experience is any indication of the way this property is run, the accommodations must be first rate.
I cannot say enough about the Adair and I encourage others to explore this gem.
Thank you to all of the staff for making our evening truly special!
We will definitely be back.
