There are two Mad RIver Coffee Shops. One is the Coffee House. The other is the Coffee Roaster. We happened to hop into the Roaster on opening day, so understood we needed to be a little patient with the staff. During our trip to NH, we came here four times. They have a good menu of sandwiches, paninis, entrees like lasagna etc. Their coffee is very good, probably the best we had on the East Coast. After our first visit, the speed with which the coffee was made increased & the quality of the lattes was better. The first drink I had was about an inch low in the cup because the barista didn't know you need to let soy milk sit for at least 30 seconds after steaming so as to let the foam dissipate (or use a spoon to hold it back as you pour).
Bottom line is the restaurant is good. They are closed on Tues & Wed at the Roaster and open from 11 to 6. We didn't go to the coffee house, so can't speak to the quality of their food / drinks.
