We stayed here as a family for a ski vacation, and the location was perfect. This hotel is just seconds off of two major highways and about a half hour away from our favorite ski reort, Crotched Mountain.

Pro: The lobby, dining room and pool were all very clean and bright. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The free breakfast includes hot items like scrambled eggs and sausage. The rooms have a very large refrigerator as well as a microwave and large countertop.

Con: The highway noise can be heard at all hours. The walls and floors are thin, so when people walk by the room it sounds like a stampede. The lighting and color scheme in the hallways and rooms is kind of eerie.

We don't typically stay at 2 1/2 star hotels, and now I remember why. There were too many guests here that behaveed like animals (adults as well as kids). Splash fights and sceaming in the pool, ice fights in the hallway, and people eating in the dining room still in their pajamas. It made us feel very uncomfortable to be around this atmosphere. I wish the staff could enforce more acceptable behavior from their guests. Or at the very least have a dress code in the dining room.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the highway. Or bring ear plugs.

I sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced while at our hotel, and I can understand your discomfort. It isn't always comfortable from our side of things either when our guests behave the way you described. Several of the incidents you mentioned have been discussed in our last staff meeting with and emphasis on how to better address these issues with our guests. It can be challenging, especially when there is a group or a team on property. At the same time though, we are responsible for the experience of all of our guests, and I am sorry that we did not meet your expectations.

We were pleasently surprised with the quality of our room, which appear to be recently redone. Fridge was larger then what you usually get in a hotel, microwave, and in the room second sink with counter top was a nice touch and was a major convenience to keep the bathroom from being a busy place. Room and bath was very clean. Pool was clean, and breakfast area was nice. Hot breakfast wih choice of pancakes, do it yourself waffles, cereals, fruits, yogurts, etc was very nice. If you're adventurous, there was also scrambled eggs and sausage patties but I noticed they were "prefab" and came out of sealed bag.hmmm. The staff was friendly and tried hard to please.

Room Tip: Room 301 with king bed was new, and on the end so very quiet.

I stayed in room 209 for a total of 6 days at the Best Western Concord Inn & Suits

What I liked
+ This is a quite good value hotel with breakfast and WiFi included. One of the best deals in Concord, NH
+ Large spacious rooms and clean
+ Large 55" Flatscreen TVs with a freshly sanitzed remote
+ Large amount of free channels including movies
+ Good quality beds
+ Fridge, microwave and coffee maker in every room
+ Shower with high water pressure
+ Fast internet even at rush times
+ Breakfast with quite good selection
+ You can use the Courtyard Internet from the hotel next door when Best Western again decides to throw some silly puzzles in your way requested to solve to get Internet

What I didn't like
- When I checked in the waiter obviously just wake up because of me (at 11pm) and was annoyed to see me. His shirt looked not washed for days and he hardly greeted me. Not nice
- Also the day I checked in the Internet connection required to solve a puzzle, watch a video or listen to some annoying sounds. Not sure if the manager had a bad day or just some sanity problems. It took minutes to solve the things just for boring Internet. They shut the connection system down that night so I don't complain much but if they ever turn it on again CHOOSE ANOTHER HOTEL!

As a summary this is a good hotel if you don't need the blinky shine of high class hotels and just need an affordable accommodation with a good night sleep.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the Courtyard hotel are the quieter ones.

I stayed here for a business trip that kept getting extended. I ended up staying here for almost a month!! And you know what .... thanks to an extremely warm and helpful staff, i did not mind the extension. They really did go out of their way to make my stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. The room was spotless and well kept, with a king size bed. Nice eminities in the room - BIG flat screen TV, fridge, microwave, coffee maker and a pc desktop/printer down in the lobby. Decent wi-fi connection. Breakfast was excellent - hot and plentiful. A big thank you to Mike Patel and his wonderful staff for a truly wonderful experience.

Definitely looking forward to staying here again.

We booked in to the Best Western for two nights during a family ski trip to Sunapee and Ragged Mountain. This place can't be beaten for value for money and customer service.

Reviews of hotels closer to the mountain did not make me want to stay there. This hotel is ~ 30 mins from Sunapee and ~ 40 mins from Ragged Mountain.

Breakfast is included in the rate and the breakfast manager is warm, welcoming and very helpful.

En route to the hotel, we called a few local restaurants but their wait time was at least an hour. This would not have worked with for our young kids. I then called the hotel and the lady at the desk recommended a few local take out places which we ended up using for both nights of our stay (Pizza Market delivers and is very good and reasonably priced).

Nice pool, small gym (the equipment, while basic, works) and a well maintained building with spacious rooms and comfy beds).

We have booked a return stay next month.

Skiing is mad loot, even at the small mountains we go to, so staying in a decent hotel for less than $100 per night helps a lot.

Best Western Concord
This review is for a three star hotel and will be compared with other three star properties we have stayed in.

Service:
The service was very good! The front desk lady greeted us well and the check in went fine. The staff also answered our questions and gave us some pieces of good advice. We felt welcome!

Rooms:
The room was clean and spacious. It had a small kitchenette with microwave and fridge. The amenities were good and sufficient. The room had air condition and t was also possible to open the window for fresh air.

Location:
The Best Western Concord is located a little outside Concord, but in the vicinity of the highway. It is easy to find. We did not find out if there is public transport downtown. On the way here we passed several places where we could grab some food.

We were happy with our stay at the Best Western Concord and can recommend this hotel. Good value for money.
