We have stayed at the Centennial several times while in the Concord area. The rooms are quiet , have all the amenities and in a lovely historic building. We have eaten in the Restaurant, service attentive and food delicious. We attended a private party in one of the function rooms and again the staff was personable and professional. We will return!

Room Tip: We have stayed in a different room each visit and all were quiet.

Thank you so much for writing about your most recent stay, and prior stays to our hotel. It is great to hear that while at the hotel, you have also had a chance to dine in Granite. We are so fortunate to have such an outstanding restaurant within the hotel. It sounds like you are a frequent guest to the Centennial. Thank you for your continued patronage. The Centennial Hotel only has 35 or so rooms and I drove by it the first time. My wife and I stayed on May 9, 2014 and were pleasantly surprised by the front desk check-in. I had mistakenly reserved the previous night, but Katie at the front desk happily resolved my error and put us into a super room without making me feel as dumb as a post - my wife didn't need any help! She and Hannah were most congenial during our stay. Our room was clean, quiet and convenient. We were just settling in when there was a knock on the door. NOW WHAT!? Warm cookies delivered to our door.... that's what!

Across and 20 steps from the front desk is the Granite Restaurant and Bill took good care of our appetites. I will post a review on it. Do not miss it. It just adds to the Centennial experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend it.

Thank you so much for writing about your recent stay and I have to apologize for responding so late. I read your review and posted it on our employee bulletin board, I shared it with the staff and now just realized, I did not respond to you! Thank you so much for your kind words. Our staff tries very hard, each and every day, to "surprise and delight" our guests as that is our owners vision for all of their Hay Creek properties. It is such a pleasure to receive feedback from our guests that our staff did just that. Thank you also for taking photos of the property and posting them, very nice. We look forward to your next visit with us!

After a long day of working at my parents' house in Maine, we couldn't stomach the full drive back home. We stumbled upon the Centennial and were thrilled to know it was a Hay Creek Property - as we had a wonderful stay at the Exeter Inn the night before. The Tues & Fri night desk clerk, Peter (who I now lovingly call Peter the Great) hooked us up with an amazing "turret" room at a great price and reserved us a wonderful table in the dining room. Peter is a true historian and we learned a lot about the property and the architecture. The room was outstanding!!! Spacious, beautifully appointed and with a large deck. The bed and bedding were super comfortable and we never heard a peep from the hallway all night. The food and drinks were outstanding as well, with much of the menu locally sourced. The staff of both the hotel and the restaurant were mature, attentive and professional. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely come back again.

Room Tip: We booked late in the day and were able to save about $40 off the advertised "lowest" rate.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write about your recent visit to the Centennial Hotel & Granite Restaurant & Bar. I am so thrilled to hear that you enjoyed every aspect of your stay and especially the service you received from "Peter the Great". Peter loves to tell our guests about the history of the hotel and you are correct, the area boasts of beautiful buildings that have amazing architecture. I always tell our guests to drive behind the hotel and down the back roads to see all of the beautiful homes. It is nice to have the hotel in a residential area so that guests can enjoy a walk or a run in a neighborhood setting. We really hope that you have a chance to come back and visit with us again soon.

We just came back from a one-night Easter getaway at the Centennial.
This hotel has incredible historic charm, but at the same time offers contemporary amenities. The staff is extremely personable and efficient. The rooms are very comfortable and wonderfully appointed. And the cost of a 1-nght stay at less than $150 made it a tremendous value. The Granite Restaurant in the hotel offers superb food and flawless service. Without a doubt this is finest hotel in central New Hampshire as well as one of the best in the whole state.

... we were thrilled to arrive and be greeted so kindly and warmly... We knew what we were walking in to, having made the reservations and doing our research based on the reviews. The location was perfect - as was everything else about our stay. The room was clean, comfortable, beds and linens amazing - and we completely enjoyed our stay The OVER-THE-TOP restaurant within the Hotel - the Granite Restaurant was beyond expectations. We are foodies - and LOVED the food - and ended up having both dinner and brunch the next morning. The staff in the restaurant are also a notch above.... making everything just perfect. Can't wait to find an excuse to stay again... LOVED.

Room Tip: though with nothing to compare it to - we stayed on the 3rd floor, facing a side street... it was quiet and a perfect location...
