The falls are an easy walk maybe 600 yards from the parking lot, a road with benches along the way. The falls are beautiful, bring your camera. You can keep walking past the falls upstream. We walked about a mile maybe but weren't sure where we were going but it was nice. It's an easy hike. There is a fee to use the whole Kankamagus area.

Worth a stop, hike in to check out the interesting falls. Right after a rain storm would be best! Nice picnic areas right by the waters edge from the parking area.

A short walk to the falls with boardwalk and steps up the side and a bridge across to allow you to see the full force of the falls. I felt this was just as scenic as (tho shorter than) The Flume Gorge, yet it's completely free!!
Fantastic spot to stop for a picnic or a paddle.
Just remember to pay the $3 day parking fee as we did see the ranger issuing a $125 fine to someone who hadn't done so.

We were looking for a good stop on the scenic highway and this falls was perfect. Very short hike to the falls - ideal if you have parents having difficulty perhaps doing the lost river or flume gorge. The water is very clear trail is really nice.

The hike is fairly easy, albeit uphill most of the time. However it is easily worth the 10 minute walk. You can walk down to the bottom to explore the falls or take a series of boardwalks to get right next to and over the multiple levels and pools of the waterfall. What makes this waterfall unique is that it is squeezed into a rock gorge that takes a very sharp turn.
