Had breakfast here at the recommendation of the desk staff at our hotel. We really liked the breakfast choices. It was a family diner with quick food delivery, amply portions, good service and great prices. We left fat and happy to start our day of sight seeing.

We stopped in here after escaping the tourists in North Conway and avoiding the free breakfast at Atittash Grant Summit Hotel.

Made to order, very fast service, friendly staff, piping hot food and a good value. Will stop again.

As frequent visitors to the Mt. Washington Valley area, we've known about Bea's for years. But for some unknown reason, had gotten out of the habit of eating there. On a recent visit, we decided to stop in again.... much to our delight.

We were greeted by one of the staff as we came through the door and invited to "sit anywhere you like." Menus were already on the table and waiting, but our sorver arrived with a friendly smile and "Good Morning" to take our beverage order before we'd begun to get through them the first time.

Breakfast choices, in various combinations or a-la-carte, were numerous and interesting. We settled for the raspberry-and-cream-cheese stuffed French Toast (which came with two eggs and choice of meat) and Eggs-and-Hash (which included choice of toast). Both arrived from the kitchen quickly and piping hot! The eggs on both dishes were prepared exactly as requested and the hash was better than we get at breakfast places at home (and better than we generally make ourselves at home). The French Toast was, according to the person who ordered it, "more like dessert than brakfast --- just great!".

Coffee cups, regular and decaf, were never empty and our server did frequent "check-backs" to make sure things were going well. When it came time to pay, our check arrived promptly and our server returned quickly to pick up our payment (a word to the wise -- Bea's does not take credit cards so be prepared). We never felt rushed at any point during our meal, but were in-and-out quickly. And although we didn't have children with us onn this visit, we noticed several staff mambers paying special attention to youngsters in a couple of other parties eating when we were... obviously Bea's welcomes kids,

We can't remember why we waited so long between visits to this friendly, "truly local" breakfast and lunch spot, but we definitly won't wait so long for another return visit. Good food, friendly service, hot coffee with frequent refills, decent prices, and no attitude -- all the things that make a breakfast place a great spot to start your day....

A local secret - great breakfasts, bargain prices. Enjoy local art-for-sale on walls. Quick, filling, enjoyable.
