Pauly's Pockets is located in a former small older store front on Main Street in Durham. Parking is very limited along Main Street in Durham, even on a mid Saturday, so you many have to drive around a bit to find a parking spot.
Pauly's Pockets has about six small tables in a rather small area in front of the ordering counter. The interior is sparse. Pauly's has a limited menu, offering about 6 different appetizers, salads and a number of pockets, either vegetarian or grilled. I choose the Falafel pocket and my wife ordered the turbo pocket.
The pockets are made in front of you subway style. I was a little disappointed that Pauly's did not offer any choices in pockets, and that the pockets were not homemade. Our server was very pleasant.
The pockets were large and flavorful, but not outstanding. Given the limited seating, and sparse interior, Pauly's is best for lunch or tske out.
