While staying at the Inn (on a rainy day) we opted to dine in, and were very pleased with our choices for the Half n' Half (Sandwich and Soup or Salad - $10). I ordered the house Clam Chowder (creamy, clammy and a great smoky mushroom flavor), Turkey & Swiss ("real" turkey breast with a hint of skin, not shaved deli meat) and my husband raved over the Grilled Cheese with choice of Ham and the soup of the day Tomato with vegetables. We also enjoyed the charm of the 1649 Inn's Copper's Café and the accents of the elegant women lunching beside us.

FFrost Sawyer Tavern, great staff, outstanding food, and the whole experience was enjoyable. We had the fish and chips, fresh, fresh, more than enough - for one person. Ambiance was perfect, charming and relaxed. Had a specialty coffee - try one. Great!

The colonial tavern is cozy and the decor is quirky and unique. We had a nice experience. We found the value of the meal to be worth the cost.

We had dinner at this tavern on Saturday December 1 The pizzas we ordered were tasteless, the crust was overcooked. One of us ordered the pecan chicken and found that there was very little chicken in the dish, it was mostly just crust. But what is even worse is that after my complaint the management did not reply and apologize. Needless to say we won't go there again.
