“Beautiful”

An absolutely gorgeous school that is a must see if you ever go near Exeter. It is more beautiful than some of the college campuses I've seen. The people are really nice and are always willing to help you.

“My school, but a beautiful place to visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 October 2012

I had not remembered how peaceful and beautiful is the setting for the Academy when I was young, foolish and a student there. But, it is the essence of old New England institutional and definitely worth a visit. Check out the portraits of the the Presidents and famous Americans who were students in the Assembly Hall of the Academy Building.

“Harkness Education - Self Esteem and confidence”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 September 2012

A child of mine completed four years here and is poised, articulate and embraces science and mathematic challenges. She and her gal pals still keep in touch and they are all seeking to become our next generation of leaders. Its not gfor everyone but the school is generoous and concilatory wwhen it comes to financial aid.

My granddaughter was interviewing at the academy. I thought it was a great school and that it had wonderful support from the staff and students when she was interviewing.

“wonderful school”

Academics - not to be beaten. The harkness system (8-10 students around a harkness table) encourages individual interaction and discussion. Opportunities are incredible and will carry a student through their lives. The grounds are beautiful to explore - from the Academy building, the Quad or down to the river.
