“Great place with great history and artifacts”

I loved this place! They have outstanding historical pieces. They have an original broadside of the Declaration of Independence. The tour guides were very knowledgable and friendly. If I ever get back this way again I'll definitely visit!

“Learn the True Meaning of Why the Continental Congress Wrote the Declaration of Independence”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 July 2014 via mobile

Learned so many things that were NEVER taught when I was in school & college... Thank you to this museum & it's volunteer docents for giving the visitors the FACTS. Great value for the $6 admission price & also a great annual event planned for Sat. July 12, 2014.

“a slice of American history from a local perspective”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 October 2013

Exeter New Hampshire has its share of history and this museum is a great place to start - learn about the role that Exeter played as New Hampshire's first capitol, and the Gilman family in politics, the Folsom family and their tavern. Unpretentious and interesting - a worthy stop while in town.

Took my mom to see this museum, it was a nice short museum visit and we enjoyed the volunteers who explained the home and museum.
