Very nice hike to get to the flumes. We were there in mid June and it was not very crowded. The trail is not too difficult but it does go up and down. Most of which is shaded from the sun.

It rained on the day we came here, but it was still so beautiful. The walk was easy and the trees protected us from the worst rain. Highly recommended for both couples and families.

A very easy, and quite short, walk around well made paths taking in the covered bridge and flume. Not sure it was worth $15 unless you need such good access and well maintained paths. The numerous other walks (hikes) have as much, and more, going for them, if you don't have accessibility issues.

We went with 2 small children 4 and 1 and it was 1.5 mile loop. The were a few steep hills but still no problem for an energetic 4 yr old. The scenery is amazing and the trail is well marked. Take the camera and enjoy the geological history! There is a fee to enter children under 5 are free.

I'm really pleased I saw this. Absolutely beautiful and a wonderful walk through the forest too. They have signs warning there are lots of stairs and hill and they aren't fooling. My hubby has a slightly bad knee so he passed on the experience. There is no way he could have walked up and down all those hills. For the young it's a breeze for little kids it could be a chore for the older crowd it may be a slight challenge depending on your physical abilities. Well worth seeing.
